Monika's Doggie Rescue is a registered charity that believes in saving and re-homing as many dogs as we can from the council pounds.
For many years Monika Biernacki and a group of volunteers have been rescuing dogs from death row and successfully re-homing them with permanent and loving owners. In 2001 the charity DoggieRescue.com was established.
Sydney Dogs and Cats Home is a council pound and not-for-profit community facility. The home has been taking care of Sydney's lost and abandoned animals since 1946. As a charity organisation and an active re-homing facility, Sydney Dogs and Cats Home prides itself on never placing a time limit on any adoptable animal.

Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL) is a registered charity that has been caring for surrendered, neglected and abandoned animals for over 55 years.
AWL is authorised to investigate allegations of animal cruelty under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. AWL operates three animal welfare shelters, a veterinary clinic and has 13 branches of active volunteers across NSW.
