“Bronson’s behaviour settled down a lot after the first lesson. We now have strategies to manage his behaviour and help him be a calmer, happier dog. Michelle has been available since the first lesson and immediately booked a second lesson. I think we’re on the way to a well behaved dog.”

Yvonne, G., Zillmere, QLD.

“Being an older dog, I thought we may struggle to change Buddy’s bad habits but with Michelle’s guidance we learnt how to understand and change his behaviour. He was extremely responsive to the training and we are so impressed with the results! Thanks Michelle!”

Jodie, I., Burpengary East, QLD.

“I kind of see Michelle as something like Mary Poppins. From the moment she showed up she had such a great effect on all of us. She understood our needs and had effective solutions for everything. Her ongoing support is much appreciated. She keeps surprising me by how she goes the extra mile. Very grateful for what she has done and will not hesitate to recommend her services.”

Jed, A., Chermside, QLD.

“Loved our first visit Michelle was awesome and can already see improvements.”

Vicky, A., Northlakes, QLD.

“We have just had our first training for our 1-year old puppy, Jiren who has displayed multiple unwanted behaviours and we have seen significant results at the end of the lesson. Michelle, our trainer has provided us with the right guidance and tools in order for us to interact accordingly with Jiren, which is also conducive to correcting his unwanted behaviours. She explains the rationale behind the training that we do and has been extremely patient with us throughout the first lesson. Michelle has also been genuine about wanting to help us as owners become successful in training Jiren. It is reassuring to know that everything about the process will be a rewarding and satisfying experience!”

Kristine, S., Carseldine, QLD.

“I was having issues with my dog settling into a house with an existing dog, mainly related to food aggression and sibling rivalry. Michelle’s techniques and assistance have been excellent so far and I noticed a difference in my dog after the first lesson. I now have much more confidence leaving the two dogs together and feeding them in close proximity to each other!”

Lincoln, L., Red Hill, QLD.

“Michelle has only seen us once and after that first lesson I felt amazing. My family and I finally feel like we’re in control.”

Brooklyn, G., Kippa-Ring, QLD.

“We found the session very helpful understanding Charlies issues.”

Gerry & Collen, S., Deception Bay, QLD.

“We are amazed at the results we have seen so far with our dog and it has only been a week. Michelle is a very experienced trainer and she really knows what she is talking about I would highly recommend Michelle from Bark Busters.”

Kristy, P., Brisbane, QLD.

“Michelle is amazing! She did such a great job explaining everything in detail and why certain things are done. Michelle is knowledgeable, friendly and empathetic in understanding how it can be difficult going through the process with our dog/s but was able to explain why and what was happening as we progressed. We saw lots of progress in the first lesson, and in fact, you can teach old dogs new tricks (with persistence!). We are looking forward to continuing to work with Michelle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

Courtney, E., Bracken Ridge, QLD.

“3 years ago we were told about Bark Busters when we were having troubles with 1 of our Staffies. They came out and and met with us and our dogs. We signed our 2 up and started training. This was the perfect situation for us as the dogs had a lifetime membership which means if ever you have any problems you can call up and Bark Busters will come out and help with your problem which is what we are currently undertaking right now. All your problems are documented and your trainer, in our case Michelle can easily refer back to notes. Michelle was fantastic not only with our furbaby but also with us. They do an awesome job and we highly recommend Bark Busters.”

“Reggie is growing into a large puppy with high energy and with some bad behaviour traits including mouthing, jumping and running excitedly through the house and garden. He was chewing up his lead, his chest harness, the car seat belts and everything else he could get into his mouth. He was living at a frenetic pace. However when he was tired or worn out he was very loving and peaceful. He showed no malevolence, he was just extremely active but his mouthing was leaving a lot of scratched limbs on his owners, both of whom are senior citizens and on anti clotting medication. Walks were on a chain lead because of his chewing and he was very difficult to control although he loved meeting all humans, young and old and all dogs large and small. He was simply a super highly energetic child. He also showed signs of high intelligence and was house trained and knew how to sit and drop and come to you, however the last he thought was optional. In the first visit Michelle countered all of Reggie’s bad behaviours and gave us a clear path on how to change him into a loving and obedient dog. The change from the very first day was dramatic and has continued through her second visit two weeks later. Reggie still has the energy but knows he must temper this with his love, respect and obedience for his owners.”

“Excellent training program with simple and effective methods. Fantastic service, thank you very much.”

Rachel S., Zillmere, QLD.

“Great information provided that made sense as to how and why these techniques are being used in the training. I have already seen some improvements in the dog’s behaviours which makes us happy and makes the dogs happy too. Tiring but it is enjoyable training the dogs and spending time with them more.”

Arianne, R., Brisbane, QLD.

“Michelle is absolutely brilliant! She is a very knowledgeable trainer but also incredibly compassionate and empathetic. I have two 4 yr old toy poodles (litter sisters) who are our babies. Michelle understood how difficult it was to be strict with them but explained what and why for every part of the training. She empathised with me that it was difficult but reassured me that this was what is best for the dogs and what they need to feel safe and secure and allow me to be the alpha in the pack. The difference in the girls after just one session is phenomenal. They have significantly reduced their barking, they are eating their food without fuss, they are waiting for me to go through a door and then wait until I give them permission to go through the door, they are barely jumping up on us – I truly cannot believe Michelle achieved all of this in our first session!! I cannot wait for our next session to refine our skills even more. When I went through my list of problems I didn’t really believe that we would get them all resolved but after just one session I am confident that the girls will be behaving (and me doing the right thing as the alpha) in no time at all! Thanks Michelle for making such a difference to our whole family. Bernadette, Julian, Lucy and Charlie (and kids and neighbours and everyone else who loves the girls but were becoming less tolerant of their misbehaving!)”

“My family & I were desperate for intervention. My Partner & his Staffy Tonka moved in with our Staffy Kermit & our Staffy X Chihuahua Kaia. Kermit had become unmanageable and the tension in our home was constant. Kermit was aggressive to other dogs and showed no respect to humans.
Prior to meeting Michelle we weren’t convinced anyone could help us but to her credit we’ve been given clear direction and the proper tools to teach our dogs to live in harmony.
Our dogs didn’t view us humans as the pack leaders.
It’s tough hearing the truth and it wasn’t easy at first but the improvements in our dog’s behaviour has been worth it.
We highly recommend Michelle and are grateful for her guidance.
Michelle’s ongoing support provides us with peace of mind.
A heartfelt thank you to Michelle and Bark Busters.”

“Michelle has been wonderful. When we reached out to her it was getting to the point that we did not know what to do. We had a very reactive dog to other dogs and any perceived threat. It meant that we couldn’t walk our dog easily and if we met other dogs on the walk it was an unpleasant event for all as he is a large dog. No one else in the family could take him for a walk and so our family dog was my dog.”

Shayne, W., Cashmere, QLD.

“Michelle came to my rescue when my 7 month old miniature dachshund puppy was struggling with terrible separation anxiety. We were in a bad place, Winston would howl the house down 8 hours a day. My little puppy was hysterical and I was sick with worry. Michelle was so kind and supportive, no judgement. She made me feel at ease and even went to speak to my upset neighbours. After the first session, I saw real improvement, I would not have thought it was possible to stop the barking so quickly. It was such a huge relief. The training sessions were really informative and helped me build a stronger bond with my puppy. Fast forward two months and I’ve adopted Willie, a second dachshund pup. Michelle was there to help me introduce the boys and give advice on managing two puppies. I’m so pleased with the results, I have two happy little pups that are learning new tricks every day. I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone who is trying to deal with separation anxiety, this problem doesn’t just go away. The right training is essential to resolving the problem and Michelle knows exactly how it’s done!”
