From a personal perspective, I do approximately 20 hours a week of rescue volunteer work, to ensure that the rescue dogs are retrained, and stay in their new homes. My classes are aimed at providing a better relationship between dog owners and their puppy, whilst providing guidance and results on issues such as toilet training, lead manners, recalls, basic obedience (sit / drop / stay), door manners, socialization, tricks, future training and so much more! We can start you off on the right foot with grooming, ear cleaning and even tricks for safe nail trimming. As a puppy owner, being empowered is so important, so you can confidently care for all aspects of your new canine family member’s life.
After puppy school, what can you do with your growing dog, or even if you have a mature dog that needs something new to work their brain? I can expose you to dog sports like agility, rally-o, tracking, herding, obedience, and scent work, just to name a few. If you’d like something a little less formal, come join us for our group training classes, which are held conveniently on a Sunday morning, nice and early so you still have the whole day to enjoy! It is an obedience-based class with focus on dog-to-dog management, sit, stay, recall, as well as road safety and manners, and we also do functional group "games" to keep things fun and interesting.
