What a fun lesson! Working with your delicious Cavoodle, Margot, was truly enjoyable, she has a beautiful temperament (which we don't want to change)!!! Creating balance within your home was crucial, as the cats have a right to freedom (after all, we are their staff!), but also for Miss Margot to understand that barking, play demanding, over guarding, pulling, jumping up and door racing were just not the behaviours your family deem appropriate (and rightly so!). She responded like a dream, and the fact that your family has followed through with the easy instructions is so amazing, massive well done - can't wait for lesson #2 :-)

First time puppy owner, thanks so much for choosing a rescue! Your wee little Staffy x, Winter, is a delight, and really enjoyed the training. With babies, at the first lesson, we focus on mouthing, biting, jumping up, lack of focus, toilet training, lead training, gate training and recall. We have just completed your second lesson, where we focused on heel work, sit, stay (obedience), gate racing and recall with distraction. I am looking forward to lesson #3, you're doing an amazing job with him, well done!

Oh, I do love a Gundog! Melo is such a lovely Golden Retriever, but habits like barking, jumping up, door racing, licking family and visitors, visitor manners, pulling on lead and sleeping habits were certainly becoming a concern. I was thrilled with his intake at lesson 1, and at lesson 2 we got out and about, practiced heel work, road and kerb safety, gaining focus, and lunging. I can't wait for lesson 3, well done to you and your family, great result!

Thanks so much for inviting us in to assist with your gorgeous Groodle, and his not so gorgeous barking habit. He is unique in that he only barked when he could see the owner (dog outside, owner inside), as a demand behaviour, and not when the owner left the home. This habit was causing the owner to change their daily routine, habits, and was causing massive amounts of household stress! Before we were even a quarter of the way through the theory component of lesson one (and because we couldn't hear each other LOL!) I showed these lovely owners how to correct the barking, without physical force or contact, and for the next theory timeframe it was the sweet sound of silence! We moved onto programming and Teddy responded like a dream, and we were able to make his mind settle, and he simply went to his day bed and fell asleep. Finally relaxed. Good job! I am looking forward to continuing your training journey at our second lesson!

What a marshmallow! Rocky is a Pocket Bully, and his head is as big as his personality! Such a sweet boy, and for a breed that is often tarred with negative opinions, he is all about the love. But, being able to have control was crucial - thanks so much for inviting us in the help! Door answering? Sorted lesson #1 - as was jumping up, recall, boundary setting and we kick started his obedience journey. The second dog in the home was also assisting with negative behaviours, but Rocky's new found control has certainly worn off onto the 2nd dog, in a good way! His lead walking, dog excitability and recall with distraction were our main lesson 2 focus, and you have really followed everything to the Letter T! Massive well done, huge improvements and I am here to support for the Life of the Dog :-)!

I absolutely enjoyed working with you both, and Abby is the most delightful Bull Arab x Staffy - she was experiencing control issues with other dogs, dog reactivity, pulling, jumping up and door manners. Lesson 1 and 2 were all about these issues, and also the small changes that have been made to make your lives easier, and make Abby happy. Consistency is key, and you have both done an amazing job with her - as a young dog, we also cover any new issues that pop up, so we're always here to support!

Thank you so much for inviting Bark Busters in to assist with your gorgeous Bichon Frise! Having a new puppy can be overwhelming, especially for a first time owner! I have enjoyed meeting your family, and showing you how to manage / control basics such as toilet training, lead training, recall, jumping up, mouthing / biting, and door manners. We moved onto more advanced lead work at lesson 2, and touched back onto the programming exercises, to ensure correctness - great job! I am looking forward to lesson 3, and to continuing with our Lifetime Support Guarantee - such a sweet pup!

How lucky am I to have such amazing clients! Thanks so much for inviting me for a "refresher" with your original black Pug, and to add your stunning toy poodle onto the Guarantee. There is nothing so scary as your two loved animals turning your home into an MMA match, and I am so pleased that you've had immediate improvement (once again), and with getting both dogs back onto the control train, your world is a lot more relaxed! Keep up with the consistency, small (2min) sessions to be able to "find the time" to fit it in, and we'll focus on external control at your revisit (already booked in). Massive well done to you both!

Thanks Nina! Your Frenchie, Vodkha, is just gorgeous, however I could certainly see how his irrational reactivity was causing you so much stress. When a dog is attacked (both by dogs, and in an undesirable human way), their confidence can shatter, and I am so grateful that you chose training, over anything else! We focused on correcting his aggression before he actually lunged, called scene setting, and by the end he was more focused on you than me, which was amazing. We worked on his lead training for pulling, his recall, and his door manners. Be nice and consistent, and I'll see you for lesson 2 very soon! Well done!

Ohhh, Miss Poppy, what a delightful pup you are! It is always tricky with working breeds for new owners (Border collie x poodle) how to get the brain working to calm the dog down, without replying on physical exhaustion. At lesson 1, we calmly showed her her how to stop nipping, recall, lead training, how to not grab the lead like tug of war, and most importantly, not to chase the broom/mop/vacuum. She responded very positively to our dog focused system, and I loved her pretty wagging tail! I can't wait to add more training at lesson #2 and beyond. Well done everyone!

Thanks Teresa for your kind words and feedback! Your whole family have committed to being the best owners for your new Golden Retriever pup, and you've done the right thing by engaging with a trainer early - it has been a pleasure to work with you all. "Normal" puppy issues aren't so normal when you've ever owned a dog! Mouthing, biting, barking, separation issues, recall, toilet training, door manners, obedience - these are all things we focused on at lesson 1 and lesson 2, and for our next lesson, we're heading outside, since he is now fully vaccinated, to start working on lead manners, social skills and road safety. Your Lifetime Support Guarantee also covers you for new problems down the track, so winning! Thanks for being so committed, well done :-)

Thanks Wendy! Taking on a mature dog can sometimes be tricky, but your love, focus and attention is definitely giving your British Bulldog everything he needs for a calm and fun life! Fear reactivity and growling are very concerning, and it was lovely o see how simple changes made a huge difference to his behavior before the end of the first session - I am looking forward to lesson #2 soon! Well done!
