Friends of the Hound put me in touch with Neil as I was feeling very anxious when walking our new family member Pearl, a 3 year old rescue greyhound. She didn't know how to behave when she came across other dogs and due to her size they would often react, which would then cause her to react. I was very impressed with his knowledge and understanding and the results of his time spent with us have been wonderful. I'm pretty sure it was me who needed the training not Pearl because the change was immediate and has has had such a positive impact on our lives living with this amazing beautiful dog! Thanks to Neil I feel confident and comfortable taking her out anywhere, knowing that I'm in control and have her attention.

Baymax loved Neil from the beginning. He came over to say hi which he would not normally do. Baymax responded sooo amazingly we were able to get a lead on him very quickly. He is usually a fairly stand offish dog and almost scared of contact and slow to approach. This was solved after our first visit. Due to his being a Maremma Baymax barks alot but now the local foot traffic have even commented that he barks once or twice then stops. We are so please with how easy and non aggressive this was. It was good for Baymax and good for us. Neil was amazing.

How easy was it to work with Neil. He is passionate about dogs and knows his stuff. He helped us train both our dogs, at the same time, in literally minutes. We were at the stage where it was hard for visitors to come by and drop-in as our two dogs were very protective of us. Already we have had visitors and our dogs behave so differently when we use the techniques Neil taught us. This is only week two and Neil will be back to make sure we are all still on track in two more weeks. All part of his service.

Neil came to our home today to see our little pup, Honey. Honey is a Pomeranian crossed with Maltese and Shih -Tzu. She was a real problem child and we were really worried that she would trip my Mum who has difficulty walking. She had a habit of biting at your feet while you were walking and had recently started biting heels .She was a barker and would bark whenever any of the other dogs around started barking. Nobody that came yo the house was safe from her jumping up onto their laps when they sat down.Meal times were hell with her wanting to share our meals. You could not sit down without her annoying you and wanting attention. With one visit today we have a different little dog. She has let us see a sweet,loveable little Dog who is obedient and just so well mannered.

I contacted Bark Busters as my Great Dane was having settling in problems after my recent move to Toowoomba - Howling incessantly when I left the house (my neighbours have a little person) - so not a way to make friends and influence people. I was going to be starting a new job so I need my giant sook to be better behaved in my absence. The other problem I was having with my small horse was that he became aggressive toward other dogs when I walked him - having experienced the drop and drag several times I now walked him with a halter and a harness and two leads - and still walking was nerve wracking and traumatic. In one session Neil had pretty much resolved both problems - something I thought might take weeks to sort out was fixed - like magic. I am now working full time and Jasper is well behaved all day in my absence. I currently walk him with a Bark Busters collar and lead - no harness or halter. We have occasional moments - but I am no longer worried that I won't be able to control him - walking has become a pleasure instead of a trial. Neil was so easy to get along with. He explained things in a manner that was easy to understand and implement. He worked a miracle in a matter of hours that I had not successfully sorted in 8 weeks of attending dog training lessons in my previous hometown. I am immensley grateful and cannot speak highly enough of Bark Busters and in particular Neil. Thank you so much.

My husband and I had always dreamed of owning a cocker spaniel puppy. We finally moved into our forever home with a huge backyard and we found our gorgeous little girl Jezabel. Very quickly after she came home however I was in tears at night as everything was not as I had dreamt it would be. Jezabel was cheeky and bossy and began showing aggressive tendencies toward me when I would say No - barking, growling and biting my ankles. She would scoot across the carpet which I was sure she knew we didn't want her on. I was feeling lost and had no idea what to do. I googled dog training in my area and, thank the heavens, we found Neil! In the first 10 minutes of Neil's visit Jezabel was already changing her responses to us and from that first session on she has been the lovable, well behaved, beautiful little addition to our family we had intended. I have recommended Neil to all of our family and friends and would happily suggest him to any one feeling lost as we were. He is worth every penny and has made our quality of life with Jezabel amazing. We can not thank him enough for teaching us how to gently communicate with our dog in doggy language. It all just made sense to us and clearly to Jezabel.

I warned Neil he would have his hands full. I can't believe the difference in Kellie after training. Neil explained slowly and clearly. It is now up to me now to follow up with the training. Neil is coming back next week to see how we are progressing. Well done Neil. Well worth the money.

Neil came to us to help us with our 12 week old Shar Pei puppy who loved grabbing hold of trouser legs, biting laces (while putting boots on) chewing shoes, attacks the broom and mop while I am trying to clean and loved digging up the garden. Nothing too major but its the little things that can become draining when the puppy does not listen. After one lesson with Neil, Poppy was a different dog and she no longer does any of the above! Poppy is now the most well behaved puppy and we are so thankful. We would recommend Neil to anybody! He has even offered to come to our first walk when we take poppy out which is amazing. 100% customer satisfaction. Worth every penny.

Neil works wonders! We were having issues with aggression, pulling on the lead and more. We had our first lesson two days ago and already we have seen such an improvement. Neil showed a genuine interest in resolving our dogs behavioural issues. I would be more than happy to recommended Neil to anyone having issues with their dogs.

I rang Neil soon after I finished Puppy Preschool with my Labrador puppy Zara. Zara was jumping over our visitors, digging, bowling me and my toddler over and just not listening. She was just so excited and energetic. Neil has helped me with easy and realistic training techniques which just work. Zara now doesn't jump on our visitors and is so much better behaved. I have had to put the training practice in but it works so why wouldn't I do it! I recently rang Neil for a follow up as I am having trouble walking Zara on the lead. He was more than happy to help and again provided easy to do training techniques to help me teach Zara what is expected when we walk on the lead. I have hope that one day I will be able to walk with her off lead. Thank you Neil for all your help! You really have been put on this Earth to do what you do! I would recommend this service to anyone who is having problems with their dog, big or small!
