Kath was attentive and took her time explaining everything. She made sure I fully understood each instruction and that I executed it right. Very lovely lady.

Kath thank you so much for your session with our Milly last week. The directions and experience you provided to us has made a huge impact on the management of our pooch????. The transformation from her unacceprable behaviour to a much more relaxed and obedient dog is nothing less than amazing. We also have realised that this outcome is a combination of both the dog and its owners being ‘trained’ to carry out instructions and reinforce these until the desired outcome is required. Thank you so much as we were at a point where we did not think our little dog would ever change to more acceptable behaviour. We were amazed when you stood in our hallway and Milly responded to your commands immediately. Milly understood what was being asked of her with your commands. You explained what we needed to do so clearly. We are extremely happy with the outcome and would highly recommend you to anyone who is having issues with their dog because you speak their language. Kath from Bark Busters Wide Bay is a dream come true! I have a Standard Poodle (3yr) and a Cattle X Collie (14yr). They both pull on the lead and have different reactivity responses to other dogs. My Poodle is friendly but acts silly and barks at other dogs on lead, and my Cattle X has a more aggressive reactivity towards other dogs, so that mixed together has been difficult to control and manage by myself!
The way Kath handled their differences and the techniques she taught me in just the first lesson was astounding, even for general house behaviour to make them calmer at the front door I saw an instant improvement.
The convenience of Kath coming to my own home to meet and train my dogs in their comfort zone was absolutely wonderful.
Kath is incredibly knowledgeable, we learnt so much in just the first day and I definitely saw a difference in behaviour by the end of our lesson.
I have already recommended her!
I can't wait for our next lesson and the continuous support that Bark Busters provides!

Toby is a great dog and I love and depend on him. I lost my husband on Christmas Eve 2020. So it was just Toby and me. I have no next of kin. Toby took over the job of looking after me. He gets me up every morning and then stays with me all day. The only problem was he was so strong he literally could pull me off my feet, I am 76 and having problems walking and getting around. So I called Barkbusters to help me. The training was great and easy. I learned a lot as well as Toby learning.

I had the best experience from Kath, I've never had a dog trainer before and by far it was the best decision I’d ever made. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is seeking help with their dog troubles. She was very kind and polite and very understanding of my needs and wants with my dogs. She understood where I was coming from and was so helpful in every way. I noticed a change in my dogs within 10 minutes of her teaching me new tricks and how to take control of the situation, my Chihuahua Benji was very aggressive towards people and animals and as soon as she came to the rescue to help us with his anxiety he was happy to be around her and was no longer an aggressive dog anymore. He was happy and calm to be around her and gave her lots of kisses and cuddles she was very quick to see what was wrong with him and explained to me why he’s behaving in this way and made me realise what I needed to do in order to help him and make him more happy and calm again. She also helped with them barking a lot and the technique she taught me was so helpful I couldn’t stop practicing when she left and it WORKS. The training is very easy and straightforward and very easy to follow it’s amazing what your pet can do with a bit of guidance from the help of Kath. I would definitely recommend Bark Busters to anyone, hands down the best dog trainers ever - I’m so happy to have Bark Busters involved in my journey to making my home a more calm and happy place again, I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me and my family :)

Very impressed. After one session I can walk Jackie without a halti harness and without any pulling on the lead. Kath is friendly and knowledgeable. Her training methods are very effective. Jackie has been noticeably calmer since our training session. I have already recommended Kath/Bark Busters to friends.

We got Kath out because not only was our dog in need of training, so were we! We had lost our confidence in being able to control her on walks due to her strong pulling on the lead. She was also jumping up, mouthing and racing through gates and doors. Kath came and spent over 3 hours with us, taught the whole family some techniques, and Lexi was learning from the get go. Lexi was calm and relaxed the entire time and never stressed....and neither were we. We will keep practicing the techniques and highly recommend Kath's training.

As a Doberman cross she's quite a big 10 month old and still has some growing to do, so as you saw her settle down with training you're now back in control and I'm sure your confidence will return in no time. Her confidence in you will grow also which should see a reduction in her anxiety and aggression. Looking forward to our follow up lesson!

It was a surprise to see our dog doing what he was told to do. We learnt so much and so happy with what has been provided. It was like a light bulb moment. What a great service and Kath was very good. Full of information. We have a two year old Maltese/Shitzu cross who because of some early medical issues was what we thought impossible to train, in particular his barking. Well how wrong were we. Along came Kath from Bark busters who spent several hours educating us on the reason Oscar was so mischievous. There has been a remarkable change in him. Kath we can't thank you enough. I commented to the family the night before with some scepticism 'how will she do it' well Kath taught US how to do it. If you have a problem dog then do not hesitate to give Kath a call, she's bloody awesome!

I think I did actually see three lightbulbs go off and they are now connected to each other! Excellent! Kath went through everything step by step and showed me how to work with both dogs personalities. One is a neo mastiff who is soft and the other is a kelpie who is easily distracted.

Jumping up and listening solved, both dogs are focusing on you and the pulling will soon be a thing of the past using the techniques you learnt. Looking forward to continuing to help as we work towards resovling the sibling rivalry issues.

Mostly happy, certainly with methods to train Kite as advised by Kath. These methods have enabled better behaviour from Kite with barking, jumping up, walking on lead and greeting other people and dogs. We were a little unhappy with not walking Kite down the beach as this was our biggest issue with his behaviour.

The fact that Kite is less reactive is also great to hear, remember to take small steps for best results and not to put him in a stressful situation at the beach at this stage, this is often where there may be too many dogs. Stress free walks is the positive way to go. Looking forward to hearing from you for our follow up visit.

Kath was a wealth of knowledge and took the time to ensure both Mozza and myself and I were ready to continue our training after she had finished. After just one day I have already seen a change in Mozza.
