Kelly is amazing! Such a beautiful lady and so easy to talk to, she listened to our problems and what we needed help with, our little beagle is 1yr old and full of energy and gets up to mischief so with Kelly's guidance we have been able to get our second chance with chino!

What a fun lesson! Your family is delightful, and so willing to listen to different options, to regain control of Chino. Beagles can be a challenge to a lot of owners, so you're not alone, but he responded so well to our gentle methods, and he loved the praise! Showing you how to correct the jumping up, door manners, recall (yes, even with a beagle LOL), rough play, lead manners - we fitted so much in on lesson 1, and I cannot wait for lesson 2, where we'll focus on stay with distractions, pulling on lead, and social skills. Well done, and thanks again for letting me help :-).

Kelly is such a wealth of knowledge! Her knowledge of how to care for and train dogs is unbelievable. Kelly gave me the confidence to begin my training journey with our puppy. Couldn’t believe how quickly our puppy responded to the techniques Kelly taught us.

Thanks Courtney! Your family has a long history with dogs, and you already had her on the right track, but with some focused behavioural training, she is going to be the most amazing Border Collie! Recall is so important, and no one likes a dog racing through doors, so it was great to get her on the right path. Watching your confidence grow when we did the lead work was excellent, and her relationship with your gorgeous cat will improve with consistency and boundaries. I can't wait for lesson 2! I was absolutely shocked at the very first command that Kelly gave
Dakota and he responded positively. I instantly thought, we can do this and was looking forward to not giving up on Dakota. I had got to the point that I wouldn’t go anywhere with him as it was so hard to deal with him and everyone would get upset with his high pitched barking at every little noise anyone would make. We are using the technique of ‘bah’ and it is helping so much. Can’t wait to continue so that Dakota can reach his full potential and we will have the tools to help him do that.

Thank you so much Kerri! It was so lovely to work with you, your partner and your support worker. When we work with therapy dogs it is imperative that we don't conflict with the awesome training they've already had, and ensure that what we're doing it working parallel to that, and also in a very positive manner. To see your adorable Cavoodle, Dakota, respond to our fun system, within minutes was amazing! He is so super smart, and he realised that barking, jumping up, chasing the cats and pulling on lead weren't on the good side of the behaviour list. For a dog that has struggled with recall (coming when called), he was on point once we finished lesson #1! We will continue to work on cat control at lesson 2, plus get outside and look at recall in an open environment, plus consolidate barking and lead control. Massive well done!

What we achieved in minutes with our puppers was incredible. Simply being able to walk out our back door without being jumped on and having them try and barge into the house was fantastic. Kelly is so knowledgeable and was able to help us understand our dogs and their behaviour from a completely new perspective. We look forward to continuing our training and it is as much training for the dogs as it is for us as well. Highly recommend.

Hi Ramona, thanks so much for inviting Bark Busters in t assist with your Staffordshire Bull terrier and Golden Retriever. Having a new baby is hard enough, but throw into that 2 adolescent dogs? I could certainly see where your frustrations lay :-). What smart dogs you have, they responded to our gentle methods straight away, and with positive reinforcement they continued to display the right behaviours throughout lesson #1. No more jumping and mouthing - yay! I am looking forward to lesson #2, where we will tackle lead walking in public, as well as dog and pram training, so you can enjoy walks with your baby Princess and the dogs as well. Can't wait! Well done :-)

Thanks Roy, your kind words and feedback are greatly appreciated! You pack of Frenchies were already lovely dogs, but now we have applied some fundamental canine rules, they are so much more relaxed! At lesson one we targeted jumping up, kitchen manners and safety, lead management, door answering and door manners (so that they don't step out the front door without a release command), and it was incredible to watch how quickly the improved. They soaked up their education, and I can see how much you all love each other :-). I am looking forward to tackling the dog to dog management at lesson 2, so that your social outings are calmer, and more enjoyable. Well done!

Kelly showed great training skills and knowledge, where she demonstrated and ran us through them with Luna. Luna immediately responded to her training and we were extremely impressed. We have continued training with Luna after her first lesson with Kelly and have noticed alot of improvements!!!!

Hi Scott and Gabby! Wow, what a change. I was amazed at how much more settled Miss Luna was today at our second lesson, her door manners were 10000% improved, she didn't jump on me at all (and anyone that has had a bouncing staffy on them know how full on it is LOL), her lead walking was amazing (and we extended that today on the street, including dog to dog management) - overall, you have both done an incredible job with your daily training. To hear that you'd also had a brand new baby over, and Luna was a perfect Princess all afternoon, was so rewarding to see. Keep up the good work - off to a park for lesson 3 for more dog distraction work!

We rescued our little guy just under a year ago. He settled in well enough but we decided it was time to get some training as he was starting to get a little too bossy and reactive when going for walks. After just 1 lesson with Kelly we were seeing a noticeable difference in his behaviour. Absolutely worth the money. Kelly is so amazing. She had our whole dynamic picked right away and helped us make adjustments so our pup is easier to walk, less anxious and less annoying for our visitors.

I still get goosebumps, about how much more RELAXED your gorgeous rescue beast (Amstaff x) was at lesson 2! From barking, pacing, whining, crying, and generally being unsettled at lesson 1, to walking calmly into the crate for relaxing, walking politely on lead, allowing me to pat / sniff without fear or snapping, no aggression, and AMAZING door manners!!!! Just brilliant - I am so thankful for your openness to make some minor changes, and for your consistency, you both get a gold star, and I can't wait to see you at group training (2 FOC sessions included)!

What a pocket rocket Miss Lucy is! Such a delightful Frenchie, but I could see as soon as I arrived how her behaviour was causing your family so much stress. From cat chasing, barking, jumping and nipping, and over guarding the humans, at lesson #1 we showed gentle methods to gain her attention, correct Lucy with being a cat bully, and how to alleviate the barking at people walking past. In addition to this, we put safety measures in for sleeping, walking and in the office manners! I can't wait for lesson #2, where we'll solidify what you've implemented, and add on some external education and control. Awesome job!

Kelly has a natural gift with animals. Her expertise and professionalism is clear from the start. The theory lesson was fantastic - Kelly pin pointed the exact reasons behind our bulldog Bindi’s behavioural issues, which included barking, nipping, hyperactivity, pulling and aggression. We had results from the very first lesson. Kelly was very thorough and patient, and we practiced each technique until we got it right. Bindi is now like a completely different dog, and is absolutely thriving! Her barking has reduced dramatically, she no longer nips, and is much calmer. Kelly has continued to support us through the whole journey, and has answered all of our questions and concerns. We couldn’t recommend her enough! She is Brisbane’s best dog whisperer. Thank you Kelly! Can’t wait for the next lesson.

As a staffy x lab, she has energy to burn, and showing you how to channel that energy in a positive way, through programming and training, was so enjoyable! By correcting her jumping up, gaining control of her lead pulling, working on recall and gate manners is setting you up positively for a long and loving relationship. Setting boundaries for once your newborn comes home from hospital will make the transition peaceful, and give you a sense of control - she's a lovely pup, can't wait for lesson #2, to continue to provide support!
