Hello, I am Ric, your local Bark Busters Dog Behaviour Therapist and Trainer. I have many years experience in dog training and handling, both professionally and privately helping dogs reach their potential and helping achieve fulfilling relationships with their owners.

We all love our dogs; they are part of the family, we value and provide great care for them, so why don’t we educate them equally to be better members of our pack? My philosophy is, with rewarding personalised training, you can build incredible close bonds with your special companion. This can be developed and achieved through rewarding, joyful and playful methods together with leadership, communication and guidance.

A common misconception is when we speak to our companions, we assume they understand us completely. What is often left out is the need to include natural methods that align with a dogs understanding and natural behaviours, especially with how dogs develop understanding within the structure of a pack. Without guidance and leadership, your dog will begin to behave naturally on its own will; many owners can often misunderstand this, causing frustration and reactions that begin to affect their relationship with their companion. By utilising the communication methods developed by the Bark Busters system we can begin to speak to our companion in a way they will understand us and rapidly develop into great members of the family pack.
