Todd dealt with Jumping up, Pulling, Recall
Jarrod believed Koa, a Bull Terrier male of about 8 months, was deaf. He commented that other trainers were not keen to take on a deaf dog. Well, Bark Busters will happily! During the lesson I tested Koa's response to noises and he definitely can hear something. So our lesson went smoothly and our special deaf dog training techniques weren't needed yet. Koa responded well and Jarrod was able to call him and achieve real recall. Next lesson we're working more on general obedience and I'm confident Koa will continue to improve. His jumping was pretty well sorted by the first lesson already! Maybe he's a little hard of hearing, and maybe he was just a little stubborn and choosing to ignore his human's commands! Until we started to #speakdog!

Todd dealt with Barking, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling, Recall
Max is a 3-4 year old male Cavoodle, and extremely cute! However his constant state of alert and frequent barking was causing lots of stress st home. He was also very wilful when it came to staying on his mat when inside. By the end of our first lesson he was responding really well to our simple vocal refocus. When we tried him out with me knocking on the front door after the lesson he barely made a sound and he stayed on his mat in the lounge room. What an improvement! Well done Amanda & Max! See in two weeks for a follow up lesson.

Ruby is just 20 weeks old and an American Saffy. Very cute and energetic. She responded immediately to the new Behavioural rules. Her behaviour needed improvement and that's what we saw. Well done Frank and Sam.

Zara was a beauty! A 1 year old female Rottweiler who Frank had only acquired a week before. Not trained at all, she was focusing on and terrifying their cats, hamster and older dog Lika (a dear old female Shih Tzu cross Maltese). Something had to be done fast! Well, Zara responded immediately and by lesson's end was a different dog! Calm, not jumping on us, and when we refocused her away from Lika she left Lika alone immediately. Walking on the lead, something she'd never learned to do, was also a joy now. No pulling at all! I too look forward to working further with Zara and seeing her settle into her special animal loving family.

Hendrix is a 5 months old Labradoodle pup and he did the usual puppy things like jump up, not come and generally cause havoc! He is super bright and we saw the lightbulb moments throughout our first lesson! There's nothing better than communication in your pups canine language is there? Well done! And thank you for having me help! I love puppy lessons because I help you avoid so many possible issues before they even arise.

Xena is a 12-13 week German Shepherd pup and was biting (hard) with her sharp little baby teeth! Within minutes that was gently corrected. Her mum was great and having lessons at this early age helps start a Lifetime of good communication. I'll be back again over Xena's first year to help her adjust to her life as a great companion dog. She is super cute and just a lovely pup! Thank you for choosing in home training with me!

Lady is a totally adorable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy of just 12 weeks or so when I met her and her humans. She was a typical little puppy in every way. It's fantastic to hear such wonderful feedback from you as I totally adore puppy lessons! Being able to start communicating with your new puppy early on, in the correct non physical, humane way, makes for a better human/canine bond from day 1. And of course this helps you have a happier, more peaceful and in control home! Who wouldn't want that! So, thank you for engaging me to help with Lady. I look forward to seeing her again over the coming months and seeing how she develops. Well done to date! Philip

Storm is a 14 month Female Blue Heeler and her owners had received a complaint letter from their local Council about her barking. So that was the number 1 issue. I'm thrilled that Storm's barking has lessened already. I suggested some simple changes to her garden area and diet that should further reduce her barking. The jumping up was an issue as she's a strong dog with scratchy claws! As time progresses Storm will relax more and more over time and become a much more lovable pup to be with. And yes, I do love dogs! ? Thank you for caring about Storm enough to engage Bark Busters Dog Training rather than taking the lazy option of surrendering or trying shock or citronella collars (which are cruel, temporary solutions that don't deal with the causes of Nuisance Barking, jumping or any other Behavioural Issues. Philip ??

Thanks so much for your great feedback Beth! Jasper (a 10 year old male Chihuahua) was super great and I really saw him understand the change in the pack leadership that was occurring in that first lesson. He was and will be happy to let go of all the responsibility of looking after you and Darren! He wants YOU to look after him! I'll be back in 2 weeks to work some more with you all and make sure that everything is going well. I'm so happy that Jasper is behaving better already. And as they say, you can indeed teach an OLD dog new tricks!

Keira is an 8 month young female German Shepherd and Bella a 6 year female German Shepherd. Both dogs were adopted about 6 months ago. Bella had been a breeder. Keira was jumping up, ripping clothes on people with her mouth, crashing into the door when left alone, and barking too. Bella didn't want to come! So, after our 3 hour lesson we saw both dogs change for the better! Especially Keira who had the more challenging behaviours. They are both gorgeous creatures with lovely gentle natures, so training with Bark Busters in #speakdog is all they need to fit into their new home better. I'm sure that they will become valuable and much loved (already that!) members of their community. Keep up the consistent practice and enjoy your two special girls. Thank you for allowing me to help you, Hannah, Keira & Bella.

Todd dealt with Aggression, Barking, Jumping up, Sibling rivalry
I'm so happy that despite your feeling nervous you found my lesson great. Molly is a recently adopted 6year old Moodle who barked a lot. But more worrying she had bitten Vivienne quite badly on the arm and would growl at her and her husband Fred. Molly was just a bit scary at times. Our first lesson was great and Molly showed she is not an aggressive dog just a dog with Behavioural problems. Bark Busters can help. When I left Vivienne and Fred were able to prevent her barking at passers by. They also knew how to reprimand her for growling without being physical. I'll be back in 2 weeks and I'm available at any time via phone if they need more help. I'm confident Molly's bad behaviour will improve. Well done Vivienne and Fred!
