Todd came in not looking to change our whole way of life with the dogs. But to help strengthen our leadership it’s only been a short period since his first visit, but slow consistency with training we have seen changes with listening (obviously not perfect) but Todd has kept it very simple for us over the first 2 weeks.

Todd was a wealth of knowledge, support and assistance from the first phone call. He listened to my concerns. He was very flexible to support our availability, he was prepared, explained everything in detail and was on time for our his visit. We had prepared a list of issues related to each individual dog (sisters) 2.5 years old. Both dogs are totally different so we needed to learn how to address all issues. Todd on arrival was taking notice of our interaction with the dogs and was already picking up on what we needed to do, by the time he left 2 hours later we felt confident to continue the training of establishing a good foundation for the future, this involved good clear communication. It is very early days but we have already had a complete change of behaviours in both dogs which is unbelievable and it is all thanks to Todd. We are looking forward to our next training session, plus knowing that Todd is avialable for on-going support is just so reassuring. Thanks Todd, we are very grateful for your hard work, dedication and patience to gain the best outcome for all.

Todd is highly knowledgeable and I could tell straight away from our initial phone call. Very easy to work with and really listens without passing judgement. We feel more confident with our border collie puppy now, who needed some extra guidance and support from Bark Busters.

I contacted Todd regarding training for my 7 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Todd responded right away and our first training session was set up. My puppy is extremely energetic and stubborn so I was skeptical as to whether he would listen to Todd or myself. After one training session I have noticed a huge improvement. My puppy has already started listening, taking on commands and become more aware of my authority. I look forward to continuing his training with Todds support. Todd was extremely generous with his time. After first giving him some background on my rescue dog, we then discussed what steps I had taken so far to resolve the issue. Following that he went step by step in demonstrating, with my dog, how I could get the problem barking under control. I then tried to emulate his training. Todd did not leave until I had managed to achieve some success, with advice on how to proceed and reinforce what both my dog and I had learned so far. I would highly recommend these training techniques as no treats or harsh words were used, just praise for responding positively.

Todd was great to work with, fully explaining the process over the phone and during our first lesson. He was patient and understanding as our dog is very anxious particularly around males. The techniques that Todd gave us were effective immediately and the improvement in her behaviour has continued. She no longer barks at people or other dogs walking past the house, people can now calmly knock on the front door and come inside without any reaction from her and we are all living so much more calmly and harmoniously together. We are very grateful to Todd for the simple yet effective techniques he has taught us and would highly recommend him.

Todd was extremely professional and helpful in the training of our beloved pups. They showed a massive improvement immediately as well as daily improvements since. We were shocked at how quickly they adjusted to the techniques shown & are amazed at the difference in our dogs since. Not only were our dogs trained, we were also shown how to train and implement helpful techniques for the future. Highly recommend!!
