Training was very thorough, lots of praise for us as owners. constructive criticism given and thorough feedback constantly throughout exercises. Harley responded straight away to training methods. Second visit was great to follow up and fine tune techniques. Impressed with how Harley is around a new cat Soule. have only had her for a few weeks and Harley responded well with her. They can be in the same room without any problems. Great techniques for creating harmony in the home. Its nice to be the boss now, and he looks to us for approval and protection when we simulate another dog coming near us.

I am so overwhelmed, with what Philip taught me. Diesel is the most hideous mutt I've ever encountered. My life for the past 14 months has been a misery, he has destroyed everything, he jumped, barked, nipped, mauled me, he would never let me pat him, any discipline I tried with him, he retaliated, neither my family or friends could stand him, including myself, I hated him, I walked him everyday, it was exhausting & frightening as he pulled the whole time & chased anything from a cat to a fly, he's ripped my clothes and left me with scratches & bruises. Philip told me, Diesel wasn't ready to leave his mum, as she didn't get the chance to teach him anything, Philip didn't ask & I didn't tell him, that Diesel was 7 weeks & 3 days old when we got him. Philip also explained why he is anxious & nervous, (by the way I didn't know he was) he said Diesel felt a need to be the leader and protect me & his turf, Diesel belonged to my son & I thought I was doing the right thing by going around & taking him for a walk each day, Philip explained to me that each time I took Diesel back to my son's, he felt I was abandoning him, (I thought he was ungrateful, needless to say Diesel has moved in with me). Well, barely 24 hrs later, after spending time with Philip, Diesel is a completely different animal, I am totally stunned, he hasn't done any of things that I've mentioned, he's enjoying the lessons, and I can see he wants me to be in control. With Philip making me understand Diesel's insecurities and showing me how to make him behave (and astonishingly Diesel enjoys behaving) Philip's instruction is worth every cent, I was sceptical and thought I was about to be ripped off, but this was Diesel's last chance, as I said, life has been miserable and I was seriously thinking having him euthanized. I feel so guilty & sad that I misread how Diesel is feeling, it took Philip to help me understand.

After our follow up visit after 2 weeks with Philip I sent in a testimonial but really I did not say enough about how much happier Dino is now that he knows he does not have to be top dog in our home. His tail is lower in a relaxed position now and his mouth is smiling all the time instead of tight. He still has the lively fun loving character that we saw in him when we rescued him at Christmas but now he has direction and looks happy. Philip guided us through toilet training, recall, pulling, barking at visitors, growling at Frank, all the things that Dino was doing to show us that he was top dog. (Such a weight on little shoulders to carry not to mention how difficult it was for us living with a small creature that just ruled the roost. We thought didn't he know that we loved him and wanted him to be a good dog.) Now that we are becoming top dog then Dino can relax and just enjoy family life with some structure. Another thing apart from teaching us to be top dog we have learned a great deal about diet requirements and general normal dog habits that can be used to your advantage such as feeding the dog on the grass instead of from the fine china bowl which is not normal for them unless of course you are going to sit them at the table with you and use grandmas silverware also. But seriously, how much fun is it for us and Dino when he munches away on a chicken wing out on the grass and then comes inside to show us that he has finished looking very pleased with himself. Philip is our hero now. We have had our 2week check up with Philip to make sure everything is going ok with our training techniques for our buddy Dino. Even though Dino had become a wonderful new little man since beginning our training with Philip, we had forgotten a few little things which were reinforced at our follow up visit. I think this follow up is very important. Thank you again Philip and Barkbusters.

The tips and techniques Phillip went through with us were great! I could immediately see Koda responding and the best part is it was all simple and easy to understand so I felt fully capable of continuing the training on my own afterwards. Thanks again!

Our trainer Phillip Comans was excellent. He explained everything very well and was patient with us as this was all new for us as well as for Dino. He was punctual even though he travelled to our home from a distance. He was polite and very professional and knowledgable. His instruction even though it was only our first lesson was immediately effective and the ongoing practice that we are doing each day is working very well. The training was very interesting and challenged what we thought was the way to go. The logic and results of the training were excellent and we are already seeing a significant improvement in Lionel's behaviour and state of mind - he is so much more relaxed and compliant. We feel so much more confident in handling Lionel and helping him become a a happy and well trained little dog.
