Dog Training Sydney East & Puppy Behaviour
Welcome to dog training Sydney Eastern Suburbs, my name is Ken Tran, and I am your local Bark Busters dog trainer and behaviour therapist. I've been working with Bark Busters since 2007 and have successfully trained thousands of dogs while helping owners overcome a range of behaviour problems.
As a Bark Busters dog behaviour therapist, I've received extensive training in the latest techniques and tools to address various behaviour problems. I specialise in helping dog owners overcome challenges such as barking, jumping, aggression, separation anxiety, pulling on the lead, recall, sibling rivalry, and problems when riding in the car. Additionally, I provide basic obedience training, puppy training, and much more.
The Breeds of Dogs I Work With
I work with all breeds of dogs, including tiny Chihuahuas, Miniature Poodles, toy Poodles, Cavoodles, Shih Tzus, Miniature Pinchers, Dachshunds, Japanese Spitz, Miniature Schnauzers, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Belgian Shepherds, Labradoodles, Huskies, Great Danes, Bully breeds, Maremma, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, and more. Furthermore, I have lots of experience working with deaf, blind, and disabled dogs too. I recognize that every dog is different and needs a tailored training plan, as there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to evaluate each dog's personality and temperament so that I can tailor a training program that caters to their specific requirements.
The Bark Busters Dog Training System
My lessons are conducted in your home, where your dog feels most comfortable and familiar with their surroundings. I recognize that not all dogs learn at the same pace, and as such, I adapt my training approach to suit each dog's learning style. If your issue is outside the home, I start the training program in the comfort of your own home, which is where the problems originate, before moving on to working outside.
I'm dedicated to show you how to take control while still being your dog's best friend and enjoying a happy life with a well-behaved dog. I begin by evaluating your dog's personality to develop a tailored training plan that matches their temperament. Each dog is unique, and it's essential to tailor the training to their personality, lifestyle, and living environment.
I find it immensely satisfying to assist dog owners in gaining control of their beloved pets using Bark Busters' simple, effective, and dog-friendly techniques based on canine communication, voice control, and body language. I can help you overcome any challenges with your dog, no matter how uncontrollable you think your dog may be.
If you're looking for a professional dog trainer near you then I'm here to help. I'd be delighted to talk to you about your dog(s) and family situation and how I can help bring peace and harmony to your household. Whether you're dealing with barking, jumping, aggression, separation anxiety, pulling on the lead, recall, sibling rivalry, or just basic obedience and puppy training, I'm here to help you and your furry friend.
Case Study: Hiro the Border Collie
Hiro, a 3-year-old Border Collie, was struggling with several behaviour problems. She lived in Narwee and would bark aggressively and lunge at dogs, joggers, and scooters. Hiro also had separation anxiety and would pull on the lead when out for walks.
I developed a personalised training program for Hiro that focused on positive reinforcement techniques. The training program did not involve any physical punishment, choke chains, or prong collars. Instead, the trainer used body language and voice tones to communicate with Hiro.
The training program was a success, and Hiro responded amazingly well. She sat by her owner's side off-leash while the trainer rode a scooter past, and she didn't even budge. Hiro's barking and lunging at other dogs, joggers, and scooters decreased significantly, and she stopped pulling on the lead during walks.
In conclusion, Hiro's case demonstrates the effectiveness of positive reinforcement techniques in addressing behavioural issues in dogs. With the right training program, patience, and consistency, dogs like Hiro can overcome their behaviour problems and live happy, well-adjusted lives.
