Training was exceptional! Ken took the time to listen and understand our house rules and lifestyle. Instead of giving blanket rules and explanations he was able to respond with ideas that suited us and our dog's behaviours and each individual family member. The exercises we did were reasonable and Ken encouraged our efforts in a friendly manner. Every aspect of training was demonstrated and easy to follow along, every effort was made to make sure each and every family member understood. The training made us confident and comfortable with our dogs which was most rewarding. We were given strategies and demonstations for almost any question or problem that arose. Previous training with other companies did not leave us as nearly as well prepared as Ken from BarkBusters did.

So easy to understand, just needed the right tools to help both the dog and myself. Absolutely interesting as we never thought that our dogs would get the results that we achieved in the first session. She was listening quickly.

Cat has been absolutely amazing in helping us through the whole training process of our new puppy. Neither myself or my husband have ever had to train a dog before so it was a little bit daunting but with the guidance from Cat, we have noticed a big difference in our puppy.
We went from a puppy that would let himself inside the house when the door got opened and would constantly bite your ankles, to a good mannered little boy. We still have lots of learning to do along the way but are glad we can call on Cat when ever we hit a road block!

Cooper is a gorgeous little (at the moment) Catahoula puppy. He will grow to be a large dog, and with a young family, his owners wanted to get things right from the start! Lots of fun ahead for this boy, and his lovely family!

Very informative, Philip was very calm and gentle from the moment he arrived. Euca and Allen usually bark at strangers but warmed to him immediately. Thanks so much Philip.

Euca and her son Allen are Kelpie crosses. 6 and 4 years. Euca was becoming aggressive to strangers and had nipped at a neighbour and the son's girlfriend. Allen was pushy and barked as did Euca. Both pulled on the lead and Euca seemed very nervous. Allen hated storms. At our first lesson we saw both dogs walk with a loose lead, come when called and generally listen better. Strategies for preventing aggression were implemented too. I'm certain both dogs will behave in the future!

Boom! 10 minutes into the practical we had a different dog. Trainer very clear and explained the background behind why it works. Fun and amazing results at the same time.

Hugh was great! although we had tried other training we still were struggling with getting Harley's attention, jumping and LEAD WALKING was a nightmare. I could not believe how fast Harley was grasping the lead walking... I love the program as it puts more accountability on me as a dog owner to follow through. I am honestly really happy with everything i learnt and can see Hugh's experience and knowledge in everything he did. Honestly would recommend anyone to book a session...

Jane provided an excellent first training session with my somewhat stubborn chihuahua/pomeranian cross Chester. I was impressed with how quickly Chester learnt to understand his traning. Jane provided gentle but firm guidance and taught me how to communicate with Chester in a way he understands. I look forward to our next training session and continuing to improve my communication and relationship with my much loved Chester.

Heather exceeded our expectations. After one session she has given me the confidence to walk our rescue alone in our neighbourhood. Heather explained everything clearly and was happy to answer all questions. Today I was able to walk Doug alone using our new halter and with the tips I learnt from our first training session! So happy!! Looking forward to the park meet ups and further lessons. Thanks so much Heather!!

After only one lesson and one day we are thrilled and amazed at Wilfred's turn-around.
We thought that Philip was very good and easy to understand.
Our 2 hour trip down to the south coast yesterday was quite amazing. We are usually faced with 2 hours of constant barking. There was no barking!!
We are now looking forward to the rest of the lessons!!. Thank you Bark Busters. Tina and John

Wilfred is a rescued 6 year old male German Shepherd who had a terrible start to life but is now with a very loving human family, along with 3 legged cats, chickens and another dear old dog. But there was a huge issue with Wilfred. Constant barking in the car when on their way to their beach home 2 hours away! They had resorted to wearing headphones and ear plugs for the trip! As John says above, after 1 lesson, and just 1 day later they made the trip without any barking! No punishment, no treats and simple exercises solved this issue! John & Tina rang me from the car actually on the way south to express their gratitude and amazement at the success! John further commented that the thought Wilfred was actually calmer generally since our lesson. Great result!
