John was extremely thorough and made sure that everything he went through was detailed and correctly understood before moving on to the next point. We had an issue with our rescue cattle x kelpie Max nipping at strangers and although this specific problem was not covered in the training explicitly, the techniques that John gave us worked unbelievably well with Max and there was incredible improvement in his behaviour immediately after the first session. Within days they had stopped barking at the neighbour's dog all together. Both dogs now wait at the door for us to walk past them and then call then out when we leave the house. They will usually stop barking immediately when asked, will sit and stay and come when called. We have not yet trained them to walk on the lead, as it is difficult to find the time having recently had our second child (normally take them off-leash at a private property). However, John has given us the skills to be able to teach them to walk on the lead, and I am confident that in the future it will be possible. I would highly recommend John to anyone who wants more control over their dogs and a better relationship with their furry friends!

Allan was fantastic! We sat down and discussed the issues we were having and within minutes we had a better understanding of butters (our dog) and why he was doing what he was. Allan taught us simple methods to fix issues of food aggression and naughty behaviour which worked and have resulted with a friendlier, happier pup :)

We asked for help with our 18 month old Maltese, Indie, as we were having trouble with things such as barking, establishing leadership, recall and walking. Since Hugh came to visit we have found Indie has improved a lot in most area. The areas that are taking longer are the ones that we haven't practised much with her so we will be continuing to focus on those areas.

It was an eye-opener for me to see how assisted training can truly help a dog to be man's best friend. While there are other training methods available, one hears or reads about, Bark Busters seem easier and far more effective.

At this stage with the dogs we are travelling along well and I don't see the need for you to come out for a visit - which is a good thing! Your first visit last year helped us so much. My primary purpose was to stop Storm from incessant barking. Over the couple of days since the training she has been mostly quiet. Occasionally she does bark but responds to the stop barking technique we were given in the lesson. The other issues I had such as jumping up, ramming the fence and unruly behaviour when walking with a lead have also been fixed. Philip was a total professional in the way he dressed, presented the material and instructed us in the methods for addressing Storm's behaviour. He also has a genuine love for dogs which made us feel just that little bit more comfortable. I would happily recommend Bark Busters to anyone with a dog problem.tw

Wish we had done it sooner. Teddy is still very much a puppy who along with our 2 year old daughter, was running rings around us. We now have the ability to enjoy our dog as he responded so well to the techniques shown to us by Stef. Knowing we are not alone and that we have on call help has made training fun and overall much better parents to Teddy.

Like a breath of Fresh Air, Megan met and introduced herself to myself and our little pack,Bear, Sakima & Miakoda, she then Got to know them, & what touched me most was Megans obvious, Interest, Love and Kindness to my beautiful dogs. Megan asked for a history of my two Shepards, & recorded and asked many questions, Then she proceeded, in depth, open up a new world to explain the difference in Megans & Bark busters approach with dogs, and the difference in trainers, obedience, behaviour, pack mentality,Dog Psychology. And also Megans area of Passion and Expertise. I have owned and had Shepards and working dogs all my life and had never been aware of most of this new enlightening information until today.My Pups, as I call them are 2 1/2 yo, I have spent many hours & dollars, in obedience training with them since they were 12 weeks old, been to, and sought out various Dog Specialist, & was left in most cases feeling hopeless and very down about Sakimas future to overcome his Reactive Dog Aggressive fear. In our first Session today, Megan took us through our first lessons, & especially on Sakimas obsession with running our hill, & I have never seen him so responsive and Coherent. Megans teaching, training & ability to see & teach me things I have never seen and then to put into practice, Learn and begin to understand , all in one session is truly mind blowing. After our lesson, We even had one of the quietest trips in the car all together today, & hopping out of the car , the calmest we have ever experienced.. As a first dog owner I struggled a lot with managing my border collie cross. He was hyperactive, would always jump on people, disobedient and no matter what I tried I could only get his attention with food. He pulled the leash when I walked himand he ended up walking me. Within 5 minutes of the first session Peter had gotten Hunter to listen, to calm down and submit to authority instead of the other way around. The training was informative, practical and doable. Hunter's a lot more obedient now and is getting there each day. I'm so thankful for Peter and the training as I honestly was so lost with how to train my dog.
