I HAVE A DIFFERENT DOG! Actually, within the first hour of training with Catharina, I had a different dog. The training was so effective and I honestly believe this is primarily because of Catharina's approach and direction. She did not judge or try to correct/point out my failures, but rather jumped straight in with a "clean canvas" and we started from scratch. I feel that she has restored my confidence as a dog owner and has also instilled that sense of leadership in me, which Augie has responded to. I cannot thank her enough because as a person who has always had dogs, I was saddened to think I might not have them ever again as I was struggling with Augie. Augie himself took to the new way straight away and apart from a few minor jump ups and forgetting manners now and then at the door, he understands what is expected of him and follows through. Lead training got a bit boring by end of two weeks, as he did all the right things so there was nothing for me to correct him on.!!! We have been able to venture further from home, in the streets, and he does really well. Almost perfect! He now responds to his name as a positive thing. Augie is more attentive, less over-excited and has made life for us all a lot more relaxed. Everyone in the house follows the training methods so it works for all of us. I have noted the other two dogs at home have responded as well. We have followed all recommendations with regards to diet and have followed the actual training programme about 95% of the time ( I had to go away so relied on Mum and the Kennel people to assist and keep up the basics). I cannot put into words how highly I recommend Catharina and Bark Busters. Money well spent for Augie and for me and the family.

Angela is a fantastic trainer, she was very patient and taught us so many little tricks that really work. The first baaaah may have sounded a bit sheep like but once you get the hang of it, it really works. We were amazed by how different Abby was after one lesson. We booked a second lesson as we were having issues walking on a lead, Abby is too friendly an nosy for her own good so it's hard to keep her focus. I love how simple but effective Angela's training was, she is great and I would highly recommend her to anyone

My dog was a puppy mill rescue and had severe anxiety issues. John gave me tips and techniques to help Moet enjoy life outside of a cage. Extremely happy with her progress.

Very easy going technique of instructions. Good communication by trainer to both us and our dog. Took the time to explain and did not rush at any stage.

I found the lesson to be helpful and very effective. The technique and tools shown to me gave me the confidence that I needed to be a leader that my pup needs. Catharina also showed me the correct way to address bad behaviour and good behavior that is so simple but very effective. My puppy responded so well to the training session that was set up andIi feel like I can have my ideal dog thanks to Catharina.

We found the techniques easy to understand and Stefanie ensured we both practiced them until we were confident ensuring that we understood and could translate that understanding into action. Murphy was responsive straight away to the training and the one technique we have been able to sustain effectively is walking on the lead without pulling which is a huge step forward for us. Our problem has always been in having sustained results with Murphy, we have found him very trainable with treats eg. he completed his Ideal Dogs Assessment easily however it is in between training sessions that we have the problem. His most noticeable issues are barking at people walking past our house or coming to the door, becoming extremely excitable when we have visitors and barking at them and not being able to listen to any commands etc when he is in this excitable state. Stefanie has been over twice since our initial session and has been able to modify techniques to suit our situation and we are very pleased with this. Stefanie has every confidence that we will get this one sorted and as such we believe her. Stefanie has been willing to assist, oferring a number of options to communicate with her and coming up with solutions for a variety of our issues with Murphy: pool anxiety, car anxiety etc. We are very much a work in progress but are very happy with the contribution that Stefanie continues to make to assist. We would recommend Bark Busters and Stefanie to others.

Well worth the money. Very helpful. Now we know certain words to use and they work great. She barks a lot less now.

helped with getting the family to understand about packs, positions, helped with corrections and even spent time simulating troubled areas, had my dog escape and charge up to her and she proved she knows how to act to and around dogs, she had a timid aggressive dog eating out of her hand, she gave great advice and help with controlling the dog without force, she has good training Technique which is humane, and effective, I would and will recommend faith wild from bark busters to anyone and everyone,

I feel liberated! Knowledge is power, and thanks to John, I now know exactly what to do if Gryffyn misbehaves. I have an escalating scale of responses to bad behaviour that Gryffyn instinctively understands. I now have confidence in my ability to control my dog. I can take him for a walk without worrying about him seeing another dog, or, heaven forbid..joggers! I am no longer afraid of motor bikes, either, because I know what to do if Gryffyn tries to drag-race them as they pass us. I don't have to wrestle with him to get my socks back; one quiet word, and he spits them out. We are a work-in-progress, but thanks to John and Bark Busters, I can really SEE the progress.

Heather explain the techniques she wanted us to use with Patch in a way that was easy to follow and understand. We saw changes in Patch in that first session and these have continued. My son called her the "Dog Whisperer!"

Hugh was very informative, helpful & patience with Tiga & I. We would go through the program at our pace & the skills that Hugh taught us was extremely helpful. Tiga had barking, jumping, agression & recall issues, after the first session Tiga was good :) ! She responded very well & now her issues are managed & controlled & everyone can see what a good girl she is . I know with the ongoing support we will have a wonderful family pet & we now know the best diet & supplements for Tiga to help reduce her issues. Thank you Bark Busters :)!!
