By far one of the best training sessions we have had. We had Glen come over and instantly picked up on the things we were lacking to do with our 4 year old German shepard shadow. He showed us how to overcome her fairs of barking and lunging at car while on lead. We saw a huge difference in her just with a few hours of training and have been really happy with her after too.

Maureen spent around 3 hours addressing all the problems/needs we had regarding our puppy George. As soon as we all sat down at table to discuss George's behavior he jumped up onto table and Maureen straight away give us techniques to address this. His response was instant and in the days following i was consistent in following her advice and here we are 4 days later George doesn't even go near the table anymore. We also haven't had any accidents in the house either. He also has improved beyond what i expected in such a short time with his many unacceptable behaviors. I am over the moon with the instant results and will definitely keep it up as i am now enjoying the time i spend with George. He also is much more relaxed than he was last week. I couldn't at this stage be more happier.

We have a 9-month-old mastiff cross (37 kg) who was overly excited, making it impossible for me to walk her alone - since my partner works away, it’s been very hard on all of us. Before working with Glen, she would jump on anyone passing by and drag me along the floor if she wanted to meet another dog. After just a few hours with Glen, she now walks on a loose lead with me by myself! Glen also helped us address her habit of chewing on our shoes, pot plants, and other items. We have a 2.5kg chihuahua that was also misbehaving, prompting the mastiff to follow which he gave us some pointers on and helped out with her issues as well. He was a real lifesaver, and we’re excited to enjoy our newly improved puppy.

I could notice a difference with my two French bulldogs straight away in the first session with Glen. He teaches the dogs as well as the owner with simple and very effective strategies.

We are so grateful to have found Bark Busters! Our 9 year old girl, Bonnie, has been struggling with separation anxiety for most of her life with us. We contacted Bark Busters after our Labradoodle pup was receiving some ‘grumbles’ of complaints from our neighbours regarding her barking while we were not home. While we had tried many techniques to resolve the issue ourselves, though we were struggling to find a solution to stop the barking while we were not physically home to be able to do so. And so we came to Bark Busters! After just one consolation with Maureen, we saw an immediate noticeable improvement in our pups behavior, both a reduction in barking and improvement in her overall responsiveness to commands & the re-establishment of authority in the household. Our BarkBusters trainer (Maureen) has been awesome. We have a golden retriever puppy (energetic to day the least) and saw an instant improvement in a multitude of areas after the first visit. Fast forward 2 months and she is like a different dog. We have seen continued improvement and is an absolute joy to have around. Can recommend Maureen highly enough.

Glen was amazing with our rescue dog Tommy from the moment he walked in the door. He gave us lots of information and advice on how to correct the issues we had with Tommy’s behaviour but also explained why he had those behaviours in the first place. Our main issue with Tommy was his barking both in the home and outdoors when on walks. Being a rescue dog that has previously been mistreated, Tommy has always been a little bit nervous around new people and new situations and therefor barks. Unfortunately, because he is a big boy with a big voice, his barks can sound quite intimidating to other dogs and owners we pass on walks. The techniques Glen showed us for walking Tommy have made an incredible difference. We are only a few days into our ongoing training and already Tommy is much calmer, less nervous and more confident when out and about. We’re looking forward to continuing on this journey with Tommy and helping him learn correct manners so he can make doggy pals and not be as nervous around new people and situations. Glen seems had magic powers, he made my dog Luna start listening and obeying in 5 minutes. Luna usually is not friendly dog, especially for strangers. But I am surprised the Luna didn’t bark once when Glen entered our house. After Glen’s visiting, it seemed that Luna accepted our leadership, she will listen and obey the orders, and now I can easily walk her to park, she will keep walk on my left side and not a head of me. Much appreciated for Glen’s visiting, I learned lots of useful knowledges.

We met with Glen today for our Maremma sheepdog and the issue we have with his barking. Within 6 hours we have seen a massive improvement. The knowledge and training Glen provided us in a few hours was something that I wouldn’t have believed if someone had said we would see an improvement in the same day. I’m kicking myself we didn’t do this sooner. It all makes sense now. Thank you so much Glen, you have helped us and our dog Brutus live a happier and more fulfilled life from this point onwards. Glen truly is the dog whisperer. Honestly before our lesson with him, mum and I were struggling with dogs who, while mostly good, has a few teething problems that we were struggling to manage. Since Glen’s visit, there has been a sense of calm and control in the house. Walking will be much easier too! Money definitely well spent and I recommend this service to everyone! Another thing I really appreciated was the barkbusters approach. Gentle correction and praise, my dogs respond so well.
