Ahhhh, the joys of an adolescent Golden Retriever! Poppi is such a sweet girl, but had certainly worked out how to push everyone's buttons and not in a good way! Gaining control over the door (to prevent rushing and racing), lead manners (pulling), obedience and barking were all covered at the first session. Your family are all on the same page, and Poppi loved the attention and boundaries provided. The shining moment for me? Watching your daughter being able to handle Poppi's lead for the first time, comfortably and without fear - absolutely perfect! Be nice and consistent and we'll work on manners in public and road safety at lesson #2 :-)

Tobi is an absolute pocket rocket, and I can certainly see how his at home manners were causing so much stress, especially with a new (human) baby! Controlling barking, recall, door answering, door racing and lead work has certainly gotten you on the right path, and I am looking forward to starting at the door @ lesson #2, and doing walking with the pram manners. Excellent work!

What a difference in my dogs. Kelly’s training really works for them and me. Consistancy and repetition is the key to polite dogs.

Thanks Belinda, it was great to put some measures into place to ensure your boy is happy and safe, and being able to control the barking, door racing and on lead work, especially taking your injuries and mobility into consideration. We will work on walking with the mobility scooter at your next lesson, as well as dog to dog confidence - you've done am amazing job!

We were a bit apprehensive about undertaking this training but we are impressed beyond words. Instantly we have seen changes in Stella for the best and we now have a much better understanding of her personality and needs. Thank you Kelly xx

Stella is just so loveable and divine! But at 9 years old, the concern for her child safety and control was absolutely needing some fine tuning. Working breeds (Kelpies) like to work, and nipping is in their nature, however, teaching her when it is and isn't appropriate, and that it's not her job to take care of it all was necessary. And didn't she learn so quickly! Al of your family have been so consistent, and the changes in her behavior from first to second lesson was night and day! Well done, and the countdown to the baby arrival begins, with the tools in hand to make everything safe :-)

Such a great lesson. I enjoy learning from Kelly as she has so much knowledge. She is also firm and direct and really helpful. She has given me hope that I will manage 2 puppies. Looking forward to our next lesson.

One puppy is hard, but two is a tornado! Both Golden Retrievers and Australian Cattle Dogs benefit from early training intervention, and from sleeping on the lounge next to the dog, to calm crate trained pups that don't toilet inside, was exactly what you were after! Seeing the improvement in both boys between lesson 1 and 2 was incredible, and now that they're fully vacccinaated, we are off to the park for heeling work, recall with distraction and fear management (ACD) with people and dogs. Massive well done, it was a pleasure to work with you both!

Kelly was the most caring and in tune trainer and loved my 7 month old Dashie.
Within 2 minutes of training my puppo was a different girl! She just needed some direction.
To people that think Bark Busters training isn't as good as shoving treats in your puppy's mouth....I totally think they just don't want to admit they need to work with their dog and trainer and learn to speak dog!
Early days but Kenzi has already made so much improvement in her behaviour and is more relaxed and calm for it.
Keep up the awesome work Kelly!

Isn't Kenzi just the bomb! What an adorable pup, so happy and so full of life! Having had no separation work done, she went down the anxiety rabbit hole, so by the time she became your dog it was a set behaviour. BUT! After the first lesson, and after the second, she showed that she could correct, was fine to be left along, could self entertain, and that allowed us to start work on her other manners. Pulling on lead, jumping up, using the ramp to the lounge to protect her spine, positive crate training, so much fun! We also corrected her cat reactivity at the first session (no need for them to be BFF's, but to co-habit is needed). Massive well done, you've worked so consistently on her, she is a credit to you!

Unbelievable results, it's like our Dachshund was swapped overnight with a trained and well behaved dog. Finally can sleep at night without howling and barking. Can't believe how quickly Kelly could correct our dogs behaviour.

Isn't Pepper just the best! Thank you for allowing Bark Busters to assist with her transition from a house to a unit. You have done an amazing job navigating the Body Corporate complaints and rules for approval, and your consistent training has allowed you both more freedom to to the things you love external of the apartment! Jumping up, barking, separation anxiety - all of these can be so stressful, and her improvements have been a credit to you hard work. Well done!

Kelly was great - she talked and walked me through and advised me on ways and means to correct Mavericks behaviour. More importantly she educated me on what to do when these situations occurred and how I was to react and correct the situation. It has only been a few days but I (and others) have already noticed an improvement in his demeanor. She gave me lots of information and things to work on between sessions and how to get the best out of the training. Looking forward to the second session as the first was very positive.

Golden retrievers are giant puppies, which is amazing - until you, as the owner, are healing from a broken leg! Modifying the training to suit your mobility was easy, and we saw improvements straight away. Mav is a cracker of a dog, lovely temperament, but so strong on the lead - we worked on this specifically at the 2nd and 3rd lesson, and all the humans assisting you with Mav's walking saw improvements using our fun system. Barking, jumping up, separation work, we corrected all of these concerns. You have an amazing companion, and it was so important not to be the fun police, not to change his personality, but simply gain control - it's so wonderful to still let him be a dog! Well done, Wally, you've done a great job, and he's an amazing dog!

Thank you Kelly for an amazing first session! Ares has already shown amazing signs of improvement after just one session! We are now able to have the kids play freely in the back yard with some simple commands! Thank you again

Rescue dogs are always so blessed when they are adopted. Ares was next level - rescued in Greece and now he is a Brissy-boy! Lots of changes, lots of new exposures, and ensuring he was safe in a family environment was crucial. At the first session we changed some small, and easy things, and they may a huge difference! We looked at sleeping and eating habits, body language, and how to re-focus the dog when they were onto something else. Subsequent lessons we consolidated this learning with door manners, recall, and the ever important pulling on the lead. Great job! Your family all did their (easy) homework, and I am always on hand to help if needed :-)

Kelly is amazing. We originally phoned her about getting a companion dog for our dog Frank as he was having issues and we decided to take the leap and get him some training first. Although Kelly is not in our area training session was conducted via zoom meeting and went splendidly. Kelly spent a great deal of time chatting getting to know us and Frank and our concerns and then training commenced. That afternoon we could not believe the change in Frank's behavior automatically just from a few small changes we had implemented and as the week went on it just got better and better. I would really encourage any dog owners to engage Kelly's services. She is approachable, patient and down to earth - no judgement just helpful and easy to deal with :) Looking forward to further changes to come with our Frank the Tank .

Being in an area that is not serviced by ar Bark Busters trainer wasn't a hinderance to the training, as we got exactly the same results via zoom.
