Bark Busters Reviews and Customer Testimonials

31st July 2018 - Emma Reeves

Emma dealt with Digging, Hyperactivity, Jumping up, Pulling

Emma was wonderful. Her instructions were clear and she would demonstrate first and then let me try to make sure I got it right. She was able to show me how to correct my dog, Rolo with a number of issues, even small things, such as answering the door which I didn't see as an issue until now! It will be wonderful to answer the door without holding him back every time! I'm very happy about having the lifetime support and know that I can contact Emma anytime I am needing some help with Rolo.

- C.J, Golden Bay, Western Australia (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Emma
Rolo is a 2 year old French Bulldog, and his mum called for us to help with his dog reactivity. Along with his dog reactivity, Rolo would also pull on the lead if there were any distractions, bark at the front door & try to rush to greet visitors, attack the vacuum, and also dig the odd hole. His mum did an awesome job during their first speak dog session, and we saw great improvements in Rolo's behaviour immediately. Looking forward to our next session, and keeping this boy on the right track.

Had my training this morning and was pleasantly surprised at how both of my dogs reacted to the commands and training. I can't wait to see what the next few weeks have install for us.

Axel and Mia are 3 year old sibling American Staffordshire Bull Terriers. They barked a lot at passers by. Mia has escaped once and scared someone. She was declared Menacing by Council. Her humans wanted to train her so they an apply to have that Order removed. They also wanted to stop both dogs jumping on guess a d barking g. Both did so well today. We saw calm and we'll behaved dogs. With consistent training I'm sure Mia will impress the Council. She not at all aggressive just a little untrained and that was addressed today. I'm looking forward to helping further and seeing how well both dogs do.

Trainer note from Emma
Nugget & Millie are brother & sister from the same litter, and at 19 months these American Staffy crosses had taken over control the house. They were causing trouble with: 🐾Barking 🐾Jumping 🐾Pulling on the lead 🐾Not listening to their family 🐾Not wanting to be separated 🐾Digging Plus they'd had a few fights. Their family did an awesome job during their first speak dog session, and we saw brilliant changes in Nugget's & Millie's behaviour straight away. Keep up the awesome work guys, and I'll be back to see you soon.

Trainer note from Emma
Diamond, a 6 month old French Mastiff, and Security, a 4 month old Rottweiler, were starting to get up to a bit of mischief. Between them they were barking, jumping, pulling on the lead, chewing up plants and being destructive. Their mum did a great job during their first speak dog session and we saw improvements in their behaviours straight away. Looking forward to seeing these girls again soon.

26th July 2018 - Kelly McClelland

Kelly dealt with Aggression, Barking, Separation anxiety, Sibling rivalry, Other

Just wanted to give a big shout out to Kelly from Barkbusters. That's me in the video in an earlier post with the 3 dogs, which is hard to believe given how they were just weeks ago! Issues included aggression, fighting between them, barking, fence rushing and over guarding and some separation anxiety. Also walks had become very stressful for us as we couldn't pass other dogs or cats without barking and lunging. Kelly had been recommended to us a while ago but we waited until I had finished my FIFO job to really be able to put the time in and create consistency and routine for them and us. As soon as Kelly met the dogs she picked up the tension between our two girls and explained the behaviour of all three and why they were behaving that way. For us, re-establishing ourselves as alpha and supporting their pecking order has changed everything. We noticed a change in our most stressed dog almost immediately and the other two have settled more as a result. We have only made minor changes, including getting crates for all three where they all now eat and sleep (even the clingy Sheltie), changing their diets a bit and walking them on the Barkbusters collars. Plus lots of recall training and other bits and pieces that help to reinforce the pack pecking order. They are by no means perfect but they've been so responsive so quickly. To anyone wondering if it's worth the time and money, it is if you're prepared to do the training! We can't recommend Kelly enough. Looking forward to our next lesson!!

26th July 2018 - Peter Adamow

Peter dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Pulling, Recall

Tegan,We recently had a training session with Peter to help with our dog's (Gus) barking. We were so surprised to see how quickly the training techniques were picked up by Gus, he's almost a different dog. Peter's approach was spot on, he quickly got a handle on our issues and the behaviours that Gus was showing. He explained everything to us in clear terms and with a lot of information so we understood the full Bark Busters program, what was required of us and how to train our dog. He has been absolutely amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend him and the bark busters program. We still have some work ahead of us but I have seen an 80% improvement in our dogs barking already and it's only been 1 week. With commitment to training I am confident we will have a 100% turn around.

- T.L, Lawson, New South Wales (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Peter
Thank you Gus is a very intelligent and handsome Blue Cattle dog. His intelligence got him training you with his barking to request responses from you and react to noises. His walking was responded on the day and he did not bark all day during the session once we used the Bark Busters techniques. Enjoy your new dog and I look forward to hear an update

Gabriel is fantastic, he is a highly experienced dog trainer. He took the time (visited use multiply times) to not only show but explain dog training techniques - resulting in our puppy being a dream! Thank you

24th July 2018 - Kelly McClelland

Kelly dealt with Chewing, Hyperactivity, Pulling, Recall

We recently rehomed a 3 year old Rotti who had absolutly no manners or training, she is a sweet girl but dominating, pushy and impossible on the lead. We met with Kelly and wow, within the first lesson I could not believe the change, no pulling on the lead, doesn't barge through the doors, in fact she will move back and wait patiently until we are in or out. 2 weeks on and Storm has improved greatly, I cannot thank you enough Kelly for all your training help, and for educating us as well. Thank you!

- C.H, Bannockburn, Queensland (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Kelly
Storm is, in a nutshell, an absolute gentle giant - she is so lucky to have landed in your home and your consistent training and positive reinforcement have made this lovely Rottweiler a much better mannered girl! Really pleased with her door manners and walking at our second lesson - can't wait to consolidate on recall and front of house focus and control at our 3rd lesson! Well done everyone!

22nd July 2018 - Todd Morris

Todd dealt with Barking, Jumping up, Recall, Sibling rivalry

Philip was fantastic. He was very informative, and provided us with a great deal of knowledge about Tut's behaviour, and his needs. Philip gave us clear and easy instructions to follow, and he was happy to answer any and all questions we had regarding how to best train Tut, to ease his anxiety, and to ensure his well being. We are very glad the Bark Busters approach does not revolve around punishment of Tut. Instead, the focus is on positive reinforcement. We saw a huge difference in Tut by the end of the first training session and are excited to see how he progresses in the future.

- A.B, Cordeaux Heights, New South Wales (Testimonial)

Trainer note from Todd
Tut is an 8 month old Lagotto Italian Truffle Dog and he is much loved by his humans. He barked much too much and jumped on everyone too much. He mouthed and also started peeing inside again. He pulled on the lead and had become dog reactive and aggressive on walks. His lesson with Bark Busters went brilliantly. We saw him calm down and actually lay in his playpen without crying or barking, something he had never done before. He showed us he wants to be a good boy and just needed some direction and guidance. Well done team Tut.

We have only had one session to date, but both my husband and I really enjoyed it. We felt a sense of relief, knowing we had hope in helping Roxy to overcome some issues. We feel excited and motivated to put the training into practice. Heather was lovely, so happy and reassuring.
