Hugo and I have had a WOW moment today and I was so thrilled I had to let you know.We were training on and off lead, I had Hugo off lead up and down past the nasty dogs and Hugo was just about perfect. I noticed a lady standing on her front lawn watching me from a house across from the nasty dogs. All I know about this lady is that her 19 year old son got a black and white Border Collie puppy the same time we got Hugo. I could see she wanted to talk but she said she didn't want to interrupt Hugo's training. Guess what .... she asked if I could take Hugo over to her house and show her son the drastic changes in Hugo's behaviour and explain to him how I had changed him from the run away dog to a well behaved, obedient dog!!! She could not stop talking about how amazing it was that Hugo was walking at heel beside me off lead near the nasty dogs. So ... the conversation went something like the following : Bark Busters. blah blah blah .... Bark Busters ..... blah blah blah ... Andrea ....... blah blah blah ..... Bark Busters .... Andrea ... You get the drift by now. So ... THANK YOU for helping us turn our baby boy from the dog everyone knew as the disobedient run away dog into the dog that people are stopping me while I am training to tell me what a MASSIVE change they can see in him.YOU ROCK!!!!!

I have loathed taking Hugo on a walk since he was 4mths so to be able to go out in public without the embarrassment of wrestling with my dog the whole walk is AMAZING. The neighbours remarked on how Hugo's behaviour had changed for the better already. Hugo has always tried to chase their lovely cat and just about rip my shoulder out of the socket to try to get to the cat. However, Hugo walked calmly on lead with me to talk to them on their front lawn. Hugo looked at the cat but did not try and lunge for it. You have given us hope when I thought we had made a terrible mistake getting a puppy. We only wish we had known about you when Hugo was 4mths to try and stop all his naughtiness and show us how to do it.
