The joy of the Bichon Frise! Affectionate, smart, clean ...but wow, can they bark! Barking in the garden, at the door, on walks, the list goes on. At the first session we changed some small, and easy things, and they may a huge difference! We looked at sleeping and eating habits, body language, and how to re-focus the dog when they were onto something else. Subsequent lessons we consolidated this learning with door manners, recall, and the ever important pulling on the lead. Great job! Your family all did their (easy) homework, and I am always on hand to help if needed :-)

Ric came out to help with my two year old dog. He took the time and patience to teach and made sure I understood the different ways I could teach my dog not to bark. Definitely someone I would recommend to someone who is in need of a great dog trainer! Don’t lose hope on your dogs as these guys can definitely help no matter how big or small!

Kelly is amazing. We originally phoned her about getting a companion dog for our dog Frank as he was having issues and we decided to take the leap and get him some training first. Although Kelly is not in our area training session was conducted via zoom meeting and went splendidly. Kelly spent a great deal of time chatting getting to know us and Frank and our concerns and then training commenced. That afternoon we could not believe the change in Frank's behavior automatically just from a few small changes we had implemented and as the week went on it just got better and better. I would really encourage any dog owners to engage Kelly's services. She is approachable, patient and down to earth - no judgement just helpful and easy to deal with :) Looking forward to further changes to come with our Frank the Tank .

Being in an area that is not serviced by ar Bark Busters trainer wasn't a hinderance to the training, as we got exactly the same results via zoom. It was amazing to see how happy Frank was after the first session, so relaxed, and much more responsive to your commands, massive well done :-)

Glen seems had magic powers, he made my dog Luna start listening and obeying in 5 minutes. Luna usually is not friendly dog, especially for strangers. But I am surprised the Luna didn’t bark once when Glen entered our house. After Glen’s visiting, it seemed that Luna accepted our leadership, she will listen and obey the orders, and now I can easily walk her to park, she will keep walk on my left side and not a head of me. Much appreciated for Glen’s visiting, I learned lots of useful knowledges.

A few days ago, we had our first meeting and puppy training session with Glen.
We loved how Glen communicated how a pack animals brain worked and we are following his directions and training methods.

20th June 2024 - Kia Parke
Kia came to help curb certain behaviours of my large 2 year old bull Arab cross who was mostly calm and well behaved but when bored became a bit destructive and he was also not great at following directions. Kia first talked about the psychology of dogs and how they think as a pack animal and if you let them the are a very good trainers of their humans! Despite having many good dogs over the years it was a major ahaa moment for me and it completely put my thinking about dogs in another dimension! Kia expertly followed up with real life examples with my dog Rocky that frankly left me astounded! It’s rare to make a significant investment and know in a short space of time that your money is well spen, that’s is how I felt after a short hour into our training! On top of this my lesson was only 4 days ago and I have been able to keep Kia in the loop with my training with Kia giving me suggestions or tweaks here and there!
I could not recommend Bark Buster more highly but for me Kia was the icing on the cake!
I am one grateful and happy dog owner!
