we cannot recommend Peter from Barkbusters enough. He’s a miracle worker. Chase is a Labrador x Kelpie who we rescued 3 months ago. He is such a lovely dog but we had major issues with him when we’re out walking. He would pull so much on the lead, to the point of almost pulling us over and it was almost impossible to walk past cars, bicycles, other dogs or people without him going crazy. This made it very stressful and we began dreading taking him for a walk every day. We read reviews about Peter online and thought we would give it a try. We did our sessions via zoom due to restrictions but this did affect the training in any way. We were absolutely amazed the difference in just a couple of hours. We learnt how to effectively talk to Chase in a way that he understood. Chase was listening more in the house and then walking so nicely on his lead in the garden. The next challenge was walking on the street with Chase. We took it slowly, doing plenty of training in the garden and we are now at the point where he is walking nicely down the street and is becoming a lot less distracted by things passing by. We have only been doing the training for 3 weeks and Chase is like a completely different dog when out on his lead. We can not thank Peter enough. We can now go out as a family and not worry about being dragged down the street.

Wow, Glen is amazing! Our baby Jet has aggression issues being a rescue and we had no idea how to help him. Glen came in and in 1 session changed everything for us. There are not enough words to explain how thankful we are we contacted Bark Busters and they sent Glen. He is amazing with Jet and has given us the tools to communicate with Jet. Philippa was an excellent support and teacher for Kai and I. She has a professional and kind manner and is really passionate about dogs and training. Her love of animals is really clear and she backs this up with knowledge and confidence. Just what we needed. Kai is a rescue dog with some anxious and skittish behaviours that I wasnt sure how to handle and Philippa was very clear and has put us on a great path. With Philippa's help, Kai walks really well on a lead now, and has her own bed (before she really 'owned' the couch) which she now understands is hers. We have a bit of a long road ahead, but I am so grateful for Philippa's help and guidance.

I highly recommend booking a consult with Ken for in home training! Just unbelievable his training method. He gives you step by step process on building a relationship/trust with your dog rather than merely obedience. Very knowledgable and passionate. We are raising a puppy and can already see such a big difference after 2 sessions! He helped us with issues such as digging/recall/jumping/pulling on lead....our puppy has become so much more calm and relaxed. thankyou Ken

Bark Busters have been wonderful. We missed out on early puppy training due to COVID19 restrictions. Bailey is a playful, energetic kelpie cross/Hunterway. He is now 4mths old and we were wanting to start training to address some jumping and pulling on lead issues. We have only had 2 training sessions so far, but we already have Bailey walking on a loose lead with good control & his jumping up has settled down. Bailey is also a ‘car chaser’, which is our biggest issue and we are hoping that this will settle down with the Bark Buster training schedule we are following. We look forward to the Informal training group classes starting up, so Bailey can socialise with other dogs and have some fun! We have found the training enjoyable and effective and we look forward to watching Bailey grow and learn, Thanks Maureen.

Philippa was very informative, helpful & professional. Explained everything clearly, and gave us lots of useful information & tips to assist us in the training of our dogs. Philippa was courteous, polite and patient, with us and our dogs.

Maureen Guelfi came to see us & our border collie pup, Kaiya & explained so much! I’ve never had a dog & I needed a lot of help knowing how to have my little girl part of our large family. Kaiya is responding really well to the training & I’m no longer anxious having a new family member in the house.

Found Glen was very good, helpful and in the first training saw a difference in my dog Rocky.
