Is it more expensive than other dog training, yes.
Is it worth it, absolutely yes.
Wish we came to Barkbusters before going to any other dog training.

Glen was fantastic, on his first visit he had our 2 year old rescue dog, Bear, placid and obidient. Bear is very scared of people he was barking a lot and running away from people, however, Glen in about 10 ~ 15 minutes had Bear placid and friendly towards him licking him and staying beside him.
Also, Glen had Bear walking on a leash, without the normal heavy pulling, and showed us how to do it. Bear still needs more training on the leash in a environment that has many distractions but we now know how to train him to be better.
Put to the test with visitors Bear, at first, barked and ran away but by using Glen's method Bear was happy to sit beside and be patted by the visitor.

11th May 2022 - Philippa Dakin
Reggie 5 months old Cavoodle had his first training session with Philippa yesterday. Philippa asked about what problems and/or changes I would like fixed and then took me through some dog speak and psychology. Although I had been training Reggie since he was 8 weeks old, to sit, lay, etc. he started to get very stubborn and started to choose if he would ignore me or not, at times putting himself in danger by running out the front door and across the road and chasing Kangaroos and he would Bark and Bark at the slightest sound!
On our first session, Philippa implemented some of the behaviour changes I had had requested and you could see he started thinking about what he was going to do. Yes, he still had some stubborn moments which Philippa very professionally overcame the problem quickly. Philippa was very knowledgeable pulling out tricks of her own to immediately deal with his behaviour, never once coming in contact, and using her voice with the dog in a gentle manner. Reggie responded so well. I was starting to struggle and now felt encouraged knowing what a great decision it was to have him trained, I can’t wait to see the result. Philippa rang the next day to check how we were going and if we had any questions, which impressed me.
Highly recommend Philippa’s service.
15th June 2021 - Ken Tran
Ken has been an amazing aid in training our two toy cavoodle puppies. He is kind yet assertive and his response time to messages is brilliant. Ken has lots of tips and tricks and has already helped us immensely in the first 4 weeks since we got our fur babies. Nothing is too much trouble for Ken and he is happy to answer any and all of our many questions regarding behaviour of our puppies. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ken to anyone.

I contacted Bark Busters to ask for help with my beautiful ridgeback x staffy Bailey. She behaved perfectly at home and at doggie day care, but when she was on the lead her manners disappeared! She would bark and carry on at other dogs and humans (men generally) and she also had a habit of barking at anything that looked unfamiliar. Glenn came along and explained why, showed me some really brilliant techniques and now Bailey is fantastic. I love going for a walk with her now and we are both much more relaxed and calm. The pack leader (me) is now in control and Bailey can relax knowing I'll deal with 'whatever' comes along. Thanks Bark Busters!!!

Our first session with Maureen exceeded our expectations. There's no way we would have found out so much information and would've been able to ask so many questions if we had attended regular group training. I'm so pleased I rang up Bark Busters for some info and booked in straightaway. Training our new puppy will be so much better now its in home and with the kids participating in our sessions. Instantly our puppy responded to commands and can now walk beside me on a lead so well behaved and we're already seeing results with all the common puppy behavior issues after a couple of days. We're looking forward to seeing Maureen again in couple of weeks for the next steps and relieved she is just a phone call away for any issues that arise as our puppy grows and develops. This is money well spent and a great investment.

Maureen was an absolute pleasure. My dogs had the shock of their lives when Maureen corrected their misbehavior. Only an hour after our session and already seeing big impacts!! Highly recommend!

I am absolutly amazed with the training that not only my 9 month old pup Winston received, but also how much I actually learnt about myself with Glens' amazing approach to our first session. I thought I had missed out on training Winston professionally due to covid.. how wrong I was.
I managed to teach him the basics, sit stay give paws and wait for food, but could never contour him not jumping and being hyper active around other dogs/people. Glen sorted this no problem... and I also only rent a house at the moment and took out the gold service so if I move house and Winston starts rebelling to the new ways... I have training on hand for this!! how incredible
Thank you soo much guys, changed Winston and my life.. as are my guests much happier not being jumped on and pestered.. cannot praise you enough!!!

Within seconds of entering our home Glen had calmed our two Fox Terriors. They stopped barking, listened and remained calm and attentive throughout his visit and even when he left. For three years we have struggled with this issue and Glen was also able to provide us with the confidence to stand our boys near each other as previously when they were in the same proximity they would fight. An absolutely unbelievable transformation, and as a family have been able to continue these techniques thanks to Glen's easy instruction and calming guidance. The following morning walk has been a pleasure and it's great to be able to enjoy my boys again. Thanks Glen, you are amazing!
