Our 5-year-old labrador, Bernie, has been anxious since he was a puppy. He’s loving and outgoing with people he knows and he’s relaxed in familiar spaces or outside when no strangers are around. But whenever we had visitors or went somewhere new, he’d be on high alert, visibly stressed and constantly scanning for “dangers.” It was as if he went deaf to us, no matter what we did to get his attention - he would be on high alert and stressed. Being a pandemic dog made things harder. He missed critical socialisation with other people and dogs, and his early interactions with other “pandemic dogs” weren’t great, which only made him more wary. We’d tried other trainers before, but they told us this was just his nature and we should limit his exposure. That didn’t sit right with us, because once Bernie feels comfortable he’s incredibly loving and loves people, dogs and exploring. And we’re social people, so we want our dog to share in our daily life. From the first session, Emma was amazing. She explained the root of his behaviour and walked us through the solution step by step, starting with theory and then showing us exactly what to do in practice. By the end of the session, Bernie was a different dog. He even lay down calmly while Emma was in the house, something he had never done with new visitors! We realised we simply hadn’t been communicating to him in a way that reassured him we had things under control. I’ve since been gradually introducing Bernie to new experiences, and I now also feel confident handling these situations. His stress and anxiety are at an all-time low, and he’s thriving!! I couldn’t recommend Emma more. Thank you for everything!! :)

I cannot say enough good things about Emma. The techniques she taught us to handle our 8 month old Cane Corso x Rottweiler are absolutely amazing. We were taught the fundamentals that will allow our dog to finally reach her potential and not just be annoying towards everyone. After the first lesson we were able to use these techniques to stop our big puppy from being so hyper and jumping up on everyone. I was impressed by all the reviews so that’s why I chose Emma and I was not disappointed. She definitely delivered on what was promised. I can’t wait for our follow up appointment to learn some more techniques. Thanks Emma you are a life saver for our big pupper.

Molly is a rescue of nearly 2 yrs old. She was living in fear from the neglect she received from her previous owners. She constantly barked at the slight drop of a pin, any noise set her off, she barked at humans and dogs. She had no discipline. Emma came to my rescue and within 3 hours Molly was a changed dog. Molly was listening to my commands that Emma taught me and her barking had dropped 85%, it was a pleasure and relief to see Molly respond and more relaxed in her environment. Unbelievable change in 3 hours! In 2 weeks Emma will walk Molly with me to the outside world she still fears but in the meantime I am putting in the training daily and seeing HUGE change for the better. Molly now has hope and Love.

Emma was absolutely amazing. Very prompt and friendly. Knew what we were dealing with before we even explained it all to her. Went through all of the info in a way that we could fully understand. Tikaani kept jumping up while we were going through the plan and Emma kept telling him, that's going stop in about 10 minutes, mate. LOL. And sure enough within the first command he knew there were new pack leaders. It has now been 1 week and the difference is amazing. Still a bit to go, but Emma's instructions were spot on. Well worth the time and cost. We look forward to continued improvement. Thanks Emma and good luck with the new baby.

Emma has been amazing when helping us with some behaviour issues with our dog, Koda. Koda responded to Emma's training immediately and we saw great progress. Emma was always willing to help, taking phone calls and messages whenever we were concerned. I would recommend Emma to everyone!
