We were very much looking forward to being trained by Philippa and were not disappointed. She was thorough and clear and not at all judgemental. Brie took to the training very well and is already more responsive and relaxed now she doesn't have to 'work above her pay-grade'. While we are thrilled with the improvement so far, we realise that there is more work to do. We are committed to honing our training skills and setting aside some dedicated training time each day. We know a small effort on our part will translate to and even more relaxed and happier little dog. Thank you Philippa and Bark Busters. A local vet nurse recommended I contact Cat regarding a Wagg Walker Harness. I am the Co-ordinator for POOPS (Pets of Older Persons), a not for profit organisation in Busselton and a couple of months ago was approached by an elderly gentleman to help walk his dog. I took 9 year old Bull Mastiff Sheeba, who is extremely overweight, for a test walk but found she pulled too much to safely walk. I had been trying to think of ways in which we could walk her safely. Cat kindly met me free of charge at Sheeba's house to trial the harness and both her owner and I were gobsmacked at how easy Cat and Sheeba made it look. After some initial training by Cat, I was given the lead and although not quite as proficient as her, I was easily able to walk Sheeba which means I can now assign other volunteers to ensure she gets out a few times a week. Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in donating your time and skills Cat.

I was completely amazed that by using body language, commands and pitch of voice that our dog listened to what was required of him. I was amazed that with constant repeat of request to stay, stopped him from running to the front door and out the door as he would normally do. Everything was explained really well and not once did Jane make us feel like we had failed. In fact, it was the complete opposite. She reassured us we did not have a bad dog. Just a dog who we have let be leader of the pack and who is now being positively retrained into knowing we are the leaders of the pack.

Milo was barking at night Ken came and advised us how to train him. It’s been successful so far. His advice Wes very helpful.

I have two kelpies who bark when we aren't home, one digs, one seems to have anxiety. They are both similar but very different. My older dog also tells the younger dog off all the time which is exhausting. I contacted bark busters to try and work on the barking to reduce the disruption to our neighbours. Allan came for 3 hours after we finished work and took us back to basics. Explaining how to correct the dogs and train them to not need food as a reward. We worked alot on the dogs and identified where my partner and I sit in the pack and came up with exercises to reinforce the pack order. As we learnt alot I wrote down the things we struggled with and emailed Allan. He gave us reassurance and more tips to work through. I also get anxious walking my dogs as I am scared of other dogs. Allan came back 2 weeks later and came walking with me and showed me signs to look out for and ways to correct the action. While it has only been 4 weeks our dogs have changed so much. They bark less, respond to our correction and have a different demena. I would 100% recommend bark busters and especially Allan. It is well worth the money and time and have even referred my sister to Allan who she is currently using.

Having never had a dog before we were flying blind. Ken’s composed and confident (due to his extensive knowledge) lessons with us have given us the tools we needed to train our Lab. Having Alan come in to help us with Goofy was the best decision we could have made. Goofy is a young rescue pup who was super affectionate, but to a point it was dangerous for a toddler to be on the floor with him. Now thanks to Alan’s help, they are the best of friends and one is always following the other around the house. I would HIGHLY recommend bark busters to anyone who was needing help with their furry family member.

Lynden’s expertise was fantastic in beginning to train our dogs. He has given us a lot of effective training skills to work on with the boys over the next few weeks until we see him again.

Kelly is absolutely fantastic. We have a 50kg German Shepherd who was running the household and with Kelly's help and expertise he is a completely different dog. He is now so respectful and an absolute joy to have around. We cannot thank Kelly enough for her help and we are sure Jake appreciates it too as he is a much happier dog.
