High praise coming from two teachers thankyou! Rowdy is a 9 month old male Kelpie who came from a farm where he was being attacked by his female sibling. He's already had 3 owners so his early life has been a bit unstable. Now thankfully he has loving and commited owners and has definitely found his forever home with them. We started training him today to help him settle in. He has some anxiety issues and didn't respond to commands well. He was very timid and startles easily. By lesson's end he was coming and was beginning to trust his new humans more. He also learnt to jump into the car which he had refused to do until now! Trust takes time to establish but he's in his way. He's a lucky boy and he will be a great companion.

We feel so much more confident that we have effective strategies to teach our puppy good manners - no more treat training! We also have a way to reduce Zorro's cat chasing - others were so negative about this possibility but Emma didn't bat an eyelid. Zorro has responded beautifully to the training, he and we are much happier and less anxious about our life together.

Zorro is a 4 month old Jack Russell X who joined his family about a month ago. Along with his cat chasing, Zorro was also causing trouble with barking, jumping, pulling on the lead, chewing, digging, rushing through doors and not coming when called. Jane's approach is very reassuring - her focus has been on what we are doing well and then on providing strategies and encouragement on areas we are not so sure about. Jane shows how very skilful and experienced she is in each interaction. In the 3 weeks since the first training, our puppy is much calmer and less anxious and her random barking has reduced. Using the "bah" sound and occasional clapping and spray bottle use has had the promised effect. We are delighted and happily recommend Jane and the Bark Busters approach.

I cannot recommend Cat from Bark Busters South West highly enough. Our Portugese Water Dog has been a different pup since my very first session with her, and this has made all of our lives instantly so much better! I had done a heap of research while we had had our puppy, spent so much time working with her on my own, and sought advice previously in Perth, but nothing was working and I was getting very worn out and quite distressed. So it was much to my surprise and sincerest relief that the training Cat taught me was so simple and so effective! Best thing we've done :)
