Over the last few weeks I have been working with Stef from Bark Busters Northcote area to help my dog Alfie with his ongoing separation and isolation anxiety. His anxiety was so bad that I couldn’t even take out my garbage bins without him going into full blown crying, destructive and overall panicked state. I tried multiple different solutions from toys, jackets, diffusers, treats and even medications prescribed by my vet and had seen little to no success at all. After spending copious amounts of money on products and medications I decided to look into trainers, this is how I came across Bark Busters. What really stood out and peaked my interest was the lifetime support guarantee and in home training. After my first training session with Stef I have already seen a positive improvement for Alfie, I can now successfully take out my garbage without him making a sound as well as many other improvements with his overall anxiety and stress. Each day I am working with Alfie to help get a step closer to him being completely calm anytime I have to be away from him so he can learn to be by himself without being in a state of heightened anxiety. Having Stef to learn from and train with has provided amazing support for Alfie and myself . I have been provided me with peace of mind that we can overcome his separation and isolation anxiety.

We were recommended bark busters by a friend and told about their life time plan. We had just got Mia a gorgeous golden retriever puppy and had a 4 year old border collie Kira. Mia’s recall wasn’t great, she was destructive (understandable as a puppy but we didn’t want it to continue), Kira was extremely obsessed with playing all of the time and not knowing when to stop, they both pulled SO bad on the lead when we were near water or an off lead park. We called Stefanie and she came around. It was so easy and Stefanie was amazing! She spent so much time with us teaching me and the dogs what we expected from them. She is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and willing to help and get the best for your dogs! I get compliments on how well behaved my dogs are and they have recently become therapy dogs which they are fantastic at! I still call Stefanie at times if things come up and she is always willing to help and so flexible with her times! My dogs have responded so well to her training and advice I would recommend EVERYONE to give Stefanie a call! Thank you so much for what you have done for me, Kira and Mia!

Very very good. Did not expect much to change with our pup due to him being too excited and not listening. After just the first session we can already see big change in him and loving it so far. We cannot wait to see what the future will bring, thank you again to Emma. I don't know what we would have done without you. Cannot wait for our next session

Maureen has been excellent with helping us train our 3 year old dog and teach us training drills that we can use for life. His behaviour within the first month Has been noticeably a lot better. He has been a lot calmer and a lot more obedient towards us. We would recommend bark busters to anyone who may be experiencing issues with their dog.

Cat was great at helping us understand our new puppy and helping with feeding tips and interactions with our adult dog Oliver. She has given us confidence in dealing with both our dogs. Definitely recommend her.

Great Training

Amazing Maureen trained our beautiful fur children Pomeranians and two grown human adults. Cannot thank you enough for the knowledge you have given us and cannot recommend you any more than what I certainly will be going forward. Do yourself a favour and book in, it is the best money we have ever spent and with an amazing trainer you won’t regret it. Thank you so much again Maureen for your support and guidance we really do appreciate it and the stress that has been taken away is beyond belief.

Ken was fantastic & Zara responded well to him very quickly. The techniques he has taught me are already working well & will improve with time & consistency. I feel much more confident now that I can manage her confidently, on my own, and eventually we will be able to go on long walks without any issues ?

When I messaged Ken he replied straight away and scheduled to see us within a couple of days and was very professional. Our dog had problems with aggression with other dogs, begging for food, pulling on the lead and barking and jumping when he gets too excited. He is 11 and we thought he might be too old to change his behaviour. After the first session Ken stopped him pulling on the lead and got us to correct him when he misbehaved. On our second session we took our dog for a walk and he obeyed when he tried to be aggressive towards other dogs. I can't believe Cic is the same dog. He is now obedient and relaxed at home. I never thought I would see the day that he was not aggressive towards another dog or listened to every command so well. I recommend Ken to anyone who has dog behaviour issues or wants a more obedient dog, it is definitely worth it.

Was good to see some results on the day

I have just come back from a walk , hours after my first training session with Glen, and I could just cry! The first time that my arm wasn't pulled out of its socket! There will be lots more hard work , but Heidi and I will get there with Glens expert help! Thank you so much!!
