Had one lesson so far and are amazed at the improvement in our dog Max. Though it appears costly, it is worth every cent! It was almost an immediate change in Max who is a 7 yr old rescue dog who we have had for about 4 months. This training has given him a new lease on life. He has quickly learnt where he fits in our family and stopped pulling on the lead by the next day!!! Definitely worth investing in this training and can't recommend it highly enough.

At first I was apprehensive as to whether or not Bark Busters would be able to help my two dogs. Leonidas my British bulldog would not listen to any of my commands, pull on the lead, jump on visitors, was aggressive towards men, jumped all over other dogs and bark crazily at them, and had attempted to attack his bother (Harley) over food. Harley is a Staffy and had been viciously abused when he was younger and has severe anxiety, he will constantly run laps in our back yard to the point of losing 5kg in two months. After our first session with Emma we started training every day without fail. Almost instantly my dogs were listening to me which encouraged me to believe I did not have an issue with my dogs behaviours but with the lack of communication between us. My dogs will, without fail, listen to every command I give within the confines of our home. Harley stopped running laps and his separation anxiety has improved greatly and Leonidas no longer attempts to push the boundaries. The next challenge was getting Leonidas to interact with other dogs in a calm manner. Emma suggested she bring her beautiful dog Sash over and work through some exercises. Instantly my heart sank and thought of how badly Leonidas may behave. However, for the first time ever, we walked side by side both dogs well behaved and in control. I never thought this day would come and truly thought I would have to walk him early in the morning or late at night in the hopes of never seeing another dog again. Things have drastically changed and I can see my dogs are much happier for it! I highly recommend Bark Busters! Not only did Emma help me communicate effectively with my dogs but she has also given me the confidence to be a pack leader. Please don’t allow your self to feel as if you have no hope and you’re at the end of your rope because Bark Busters can help!!

We had our first session with Heather yesterday and it was really good! The session was customised to suit our lifestyle, our goals and of course, our puppy. We understand how important puppy training is and we now feel equipped to start teaching Sayla. We are very excited for future sessions and watching Sayla become a well behaved member of the family.

Great training really learnt a lot in regards to us having problems with barging through doors and barking. Philip was very patient with us and Buddy.

Excellent training session with Heather - she was engaging, passionate and gave us very helpful tips to train our puppy. She gave us technical demonstrations and then had us practice them at our house and also at our local park. The hands-on approach is absolutely invaluable. We all had a great time learning very useful skills and our puppy is now learning and improving everyday!

This was amazing. The techniques make so much sense, are relatively straight forward to practice and so, so effective. Poppy is so much calmer, happier and quieter!

Peter came to my workplace to assess my rescued greyhound for the purpose of providing dog therapy to the local nursing homes. He tested her under many different conditions and also my ability to handle her. The assessment was very thorough and extended to the outside of my work where there is high traffic of cars and pedestrians. That would have been enough but Peter offered some great advice about what to feed her. I took his advice and can see how much healthier she looks and it was actually cheaper than mainstream dog biscuits. I am very grateful to Peter for this advice.

We contacted Stef from Bark Busters regarding our little Georgia’s separation anxiety. When we would leave Georgia at home she would constantly cry and become destructive, destroying the timber around our doors and windows. We didn’t know what to do until we met Stef. Stef sat down with Georgia and us and discussed training techniques that would suit us and our battle with the separation anxiety. We have put these techniques into action and our little Georgia Is on the right track to becoming more confident when she is left at home by herself.
