Had a fantastic experience with Philippa from Bark Busters. Everything was explained in an easy to understand way and we could see the results with our two dogs immediately. She gave us all the right tools and techniques to continue our training at home so now it’s up to us to be consistent with it!

it was a pleasure to train with Odie Bernadoodle 2years old, and Ruffles an Irish Wolfhound X. Setting new boundaries with good recall and loose lead walking. Both responded so well. We had the best experience with Bark Busters Home Dog Training, and I just have to share it!
From the moment I filled in their online form, the communication was amazing — quick, clear, and super friendly. Because a spot opened up, we even got booked in within the week! 🙌
When Glen arrived, our dogs wasted NO time showing him their usual “talent”… aka loud, chaotic front‑door greetings. 😂 But honestly, Glen worked magic from the second he walked in. He reset the energy in our home instantly and showed us how to take the lead in a way the dogs understood straight away.
The best part?

✨ NO treats, no shock devices, no gadgets — just simple, calm communication

I was unable to be at the first training lesson due to work commitments, my wife was very skeptical about the training as we have had experts before but with minimal results, after the first lesson my wife rang me and was over the moon with the results she had seen in the first couple of hours with Emma's tuition and with the ongoing lessons felt confident we could get control of our headstrong puppy

We can’t thank Martin enough for the incredible transformation we’ve seen in just a few days. Before we started training, Ollie’s behaviour when visitors came to our home was overwhelming — he would become overexcited, jump up constantly, and struggle to settle. Walks were just as challenging, as he pulled relentlessly on the lead, turning what should have been enjoyable outings into stressful experiences.
Thanks to the knowledge and guidance we received, Ollie has made remarkable progress in a small amount of time. He is calm and shows self-control, when anyone comes to the door. Ollie is also showing progress with our walking training in the backyard.
The training methods Martin provided were clear, practical, and tailored specifically to Ollie’s needs. We felt supported every step of the way and learned so much about how to communicate with him effectively. We’re so grateful for the positive impact this has had on our daily life. I would highly recommend this trainer to anyone struggling with similar issues.

From the very first lesson, Kelly was able to explain some of the reasons for the issues we were having, with appropriate training routines to suit provided immediately. Apartment living is just brilliant, until your dogs are waking the neighbours or breaking into the peace and solitude through the day when you're working. We really understand how mortified you were to find out that your babies weren't being angels - I am so grateful that you invited Bark Busters Home Dog Training to come and assist you in your home - your two pups are absolutely delicious! Tenterfield Terriers and Maltese x Foxie's are both such fun breeds, but can certainly be verbose if not worked mentally - apart from the main focus of barking, we also addressed and focused on jumping up, pulling on lead, recall, stair racing and door manners. I am looking forward to doing more training off site at lesson 2, dog to dog confidence and manners, and walking politely to be the main points to improve. The quick changes you're seeing are 100% down to you as an owner, thanks so much for your committment to our easy system!

Kristie has been absolutely wonderful to work with. Muffin improved within just a couple of days, which honestly surprised us in the best way.
For our first session, she was on time, listened carefully to our concerns, and explained everything clearly. I was quite stressed about Muffin at the start, and Kristie was incredibly reassuring and supportive. That meant a lot to me.
She’s also been very responsive to my messages, which makes the whole process feel smooth and well supported.
We’re genuinely so happy with the progress and would highly recommend Kristie to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring trainer.

One week ago we had a gorgeous but very excitable 8 mth old puppy, jumping, nipping, pulling on the leash, generally a bit of a challenge.
Glen came along for a couple of hours and was greeted at the door by Rolo with some jumping, barking and nipping. By the time Glen left we had a much calmer puppy …. one week on we still have a gorgeous, loving puppy but he’s much calmer, no jumping, very little mouthing, no pulling on leash, no longer scared of the dump truck all in all a much more confident puppy and a very relieved mum and dad. Rolo is a joy to walk and we are no longer apprehensive when we have visitors! Still a work in progress but 100% easier. Thank you Glen
