Ric explained everything in a very approachable and easy to understand way, and the techniques were easy enough to pick up! Even after 1 session its like we own a different dog! We still have a long way to go but we can already see so many positive changes!

11th October 2025 - Martin Blattman
Martin’s training with our 2 young (15 month old and 7 month old) schnauzers has been so informative and reassuring. Martin has taught us that we can be better owners for our dogs and have happier dogs with training and obedience. Working through trust with them but being firm and rewarding the correct behaviour through body language and commands. We know that is down to us to implement all the techniques we go over with Martin and it is through consistency and persistence that we will see the desired results each day. It is a journey but definitely one worth it considering the love we have for our dogs and wanting to create the best life for all of us.

We have gone through 3 previous dog trainers and anxiety medication to try assist with behavioral issues without success. After the first lesson which went for 3 hours it’s been an instant change in our dog for the better. We rarely have behavioural issues, we can put her in her crate without her barking constantly, we can now have guests over and she remains calm. I can’t recommend it enough

Whole process was easy, from first enquirey, all questions answered, then Glen came out for the first lesson, spent time with us and understanding the problems, then showed us the info and explained his process, we then went outside, dodging the rain, and went through the first training stage, had an immediate effect, we are onto day 4 now, both dogs now sit at the front door and wait to go out, previously would both just rush and bowl us over, lead walking is now so relaxed, they walk at our pace beside us, cannot wait to continue our education with Glen.

I was having great difficulty to just put a collar on my 18 week great dane and constant nibbing my arms
First session was really hard to watch my boy was not happy but Glen was so patient and offered me a great deal of recurrence 3 days post session and our world is fantastic no more teeth in my hands and arms still training on lead but going well

You have the luxury of knowing that wherever you may move Odin's life time support moves with him. We didn't have to do a lot in fact - leadership was established in your pack prior to our lesson together. All we had to do was some fine tuning, and that would not have been possible without you Steve. Thank you for trusting Bark Busters with your family - it can be somewhat difficult at times to demonstrate our unique system to others without being at their home, to witness the communication protocol and the ease in which it is established. I applaud you for your decision. You will have a less anxious dog in the coming years and overall, a much happier pack as perimeters were established and moreover a link provided between the 2 different species under the same roof. Absolutely life-changing! Everyone has noticed the dramatic transformation in my 2kg blue chihuahua.
He used to be constantly anxious and stressed — barking, lunging at every dog, losing fur, battling frequent ear infections, and always on high alert outdoors. Walks and cafés were a nightmare; my heart would race every time a dog passed. I avoided elevators, outdoor coffee spots, and couldn’t leave my two chi's at home without complaints from neighbours about the barking and crying.
Then Kelly from Bark Busters arrived — and everything changed!
Within one lesson, a simple command and technique, and a few dietary tweaks worked wonders. His barking was under control immediately after ONE LESSON, and within a month, his skin, ears, and oral health had completely improved.
He’s no longer anxious or stressed. His fur is growing back, his ears are clear, and he’s finally calm and content AND obedient. We can now leave him home alone — no barking, no panic, just peace. And he finally stopped marking everything in the house - as in zero peeing on my furniture, bedding and anything that's new.
Kelly is absolutely incredible — the best trainer we’ve had in seven years and the only one who’s made a true, lasting difference on every level.

Starting with controlling the barking, anxiety and marking at home, we gently moved into social skills and scene setting, with our most recent revisit lesson at the busy park on the foreshore at Paradise Point - and WOW, what a difference it has made! I am completely grateful for your commitment to the small changes and your existing knowledge was a beacon of light too (no need to re-invent the wheel!) - thank you again for your kind words - seeing the happiness on both of your faces as we walked past allll the dogs, people, scooter, etc, was absolutely joyous!
