I contacted Peter to seek help with my 4-year-old female American Staffy, Aura. Aura is a beautiful companion, but she was attacked as a puppy and has since had issues with dog aggression. She would bark at passers-by our house and was a nightmare on the lead when we saw other dogs. While I could manage Aura’s issues by limiting the types of interactions she had, I felt she wasn’t getting the most out of life. I contacted Peter during the Covid-19 restrictions, so we arranged to begin training via Zoom. At first, I was concerned that this method wouldn’t be as effective as in-person training, but I saw the ‘lock-down’ as the perfect time to get on top of some of Aura’s issues, as I would have more time than usual to practice with her. In three short weeks, I have seen a huge transformation! I have learned how to be the leader of our pack and speak Aura’s language. Aura seems happier at home and eagerly looks to me for leadership. We have been working on lead training for the past ten days, and I’ve learned how to stop her from pulling! As a strong American Staffy, I used to have a sore back from long walks with her, as she’d pull me along. But I persevered because she’s an active breed and needed the exercise. Now, when we practice lead training, the lead is slack, and Aura is so much more relaxed! Peter, Aura and I are still working together. We are yet to begin working on re-introducing Aura to having dogs in her environment, but with the fantastic progress that she has made in such a short time, I’m confident we can have her feeling comfortable around dogs soon.

In the space of a day both of my dogs are much better behaved, have gained confidence and learnt how to show their affection without being too annoying. Thank you!

After 1 session Jellybean was walking better on her lead. While things are not perfect Ken has been patient with us with follow up sessions as we needed help with our training techniques. He was great with Jellybean and she responded to his training.

We contacted Bark Buster to help us with our 5 month old bull terrier/staffy Koda. We received Koda at 4 months old from a family who had not trained her very well. She had a number of bad habits, the worst being incessant play biting that was becoming harder as she grew and constant jumping. She was extremely disobedient and was beginning to exhibit very dominant behaviour, particularly around the lounge. We were extremely frustrated, and were starting to regret getting her. When we contacted Peter, he was immediately helpful, and explained everything over the phone shortly after our first email. Due do Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, Peter mailed out information and training equipment, and we conducted training sessions over Zoom using our laptop. These were highly successful, and Peter was very capable of conducting the sessions in this manner. We are looking forward to Peter coming out to see Koda in person when the restrictions are lifted. As soon as we started the training sessions, we saw a quick improvement in Koda's behaviour. We were supported to maintain these behaviours over the weeks and we now have a puppy who is much easier to live with, who is more affectionate and happy, and who we feel a lot safer to introduce to new people. We feel very secure knowing we have ongoing support down the track if Koda's behaviour ever changes for the worse.

We cannot rate Glen highly enough. He came out to help us with our puppy Killer and was amazing! We have to admit we were a bit skeptical but we saw results immediately! After the first session it was like we had a different puppy. We have so much to learn but it’s such a great feeling to have someone to help us and someone we trust. Thanks so much Glen.

Faith was fabulous with our 3 dogs. Barking stopped immediately and they have continued to understand and grow with their training. Faith was gentle, kind and understanding. Barking has stopped and their anxiety has lessened. Thank you so much Faith.

Ken was brilliant to work with. He asked many questions and provided us with the tools and understanding to effectively train Zelda. This worked. In one day Zelda was a new dog and she is getting even better day by day. Ken was extremely accommodating and managed to work with us over Video Call. We were recommended Bark busters from a family friend. I would highly recommend Ken to any new or experienced dog owner.
