Maureen was super knowledgable about all things dogs and had a great manner when training both us and the 2 dogs! We have only had one session so far but learnt a lot about behaviour, nutrition as well training and the psychology behind the methods used by Bark Busters . Maureen was punctual, patient and professional. We feel confident that with time and persistence we will have two well behaved and happy dogs! Glen was amazing with our rescue dog Tommy from the moment he walked in the door. He gave us lots of information and advice on how to correct the issues we had with Tommy’s behaviour but also explained why he had those behaviours in the first place. Our main issue with Tommy was his barking both in the home and outdoors when on walks. Being a rescue dog that has previously been mistreated, Tommy has always been a little bit nervous around new people and new situations and therefor barks. Unfortunately, because he is a big boy with a big voice, his barks can sound quite intimidating to other dogs and owners we pass on walks. The techniques Glen showed us for walking Tommy have made an incredible difference. We are only a few days into our ongoing training and already Tommy is much calmer, less nervous and more confident when out and about. We’re looking forward to continuing on this journey with Tommy and helping him learn correct manners so he can make doggy pals and not be as nervous around new people and situations. We cannot recommend Glen highly enough. He’s so knowledgeable and made the whole experience very easy. Thanks so much Glen

5 minutes with Glen and my dogs were laying peacefully outside the door while I was run through the training program, this was a huge achievement for my 5 year old Husky x German Shepard as she has already completed 3 different obedience schools and still jumped and scratched at the door when there were guests in the house. I had never been able to train both my dogs at once and most attempts ended with my pair getting into a fight and having to be separated, they would not listen to me if they were together and seperate they were different dogs. Since my first training I have never been so happy and thankful, my dogs have been on a loose lead walk together for the first time ever (not without lack of trying), I have had people over with no issue and without having to chuck in a disclaimer “sorry for the dogs carrying on out there, you can’t open the door they will jump all over you”. I finally feel safe that my dogs will listen to me and see me as the leader, they are happier than ever now that I feel they can safely be out together and they can stay in the house when guests come over.

We were amazed how much information we were given regarding our puppy. Our dog amazed us how quickly he responded to some of the instructions given. Not only has our puppy learned so have we which was a surprise. It’s a long journey but grateful for the advice and support of Bark busters Thanks Maureen.
