Michelle dealt with Barking, Pulling, Recall
We recently adopted a 4 year old rescue German Shepherd. Bowie is very friendly to all humans but came with absolutely no recall and a desire to bark at other dogs both at the fence and on walks.
We immediately engaged Michelle from Bark Busters. Already, after one lesson and a week of practicing our training routine daily he is improving on all fronts. We were so pleased to be reassured that his bad habits can be addressed so that he can become the good dog he deserves to be.

We had an out of control French Bulldog and after a session with Bark Busters, Michelle Howell, we have learnt how to calm her down and have more respect for us, we now have a calm, well mannered dog that is a pleasure to be around, training is ongoing but we now have confidence she will be better behaved in the future.

Thank you so much for your beautiful words. It has been an absolute pleasure working with you, Coco, and Sandy. Coco is such an intelligent Swiss Shepherd—she picks things up so quickly—and sweet Sandy has the loveliest nature, always trying her best. Seeing them both settle into calm, well‑mannered routines so fast is a credit to the work you’re putting in at home. I’m thrilled to hear how much their progress has changed life for you. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support your family, and I’m always here if you need anything as the girls continue to grow and learn.

We recently had our first training session with Michelle from Bark Busters Brisbane, and I can’t recommend her enough! From the moment she arrived, Michelle made us feel at ease and explained everything clearly. What amazed us most was how quickly our Aussie Shepherd, Barni, responded to the training — we noticed a change straight away on the very first day.
The intensive session gave us so many practical tools, and it’s incredible to see Barni adapting so fast. We know we still have more to work on, but with Michelle’s guidance, we feel confident that we’re on the right path.
If you’re looking for a trainer who is patient, professional, and gets real results, Michelle is the one! She is our puppy angel ❤️

We honestly can’t recommend Michelle enough! Within just a few minutes, it was obvious she really understands all types of dogs and knows how to connect with them. Her calm, confident energy helped both us and our pups feel totally at ease, and her training style was super effective but also kind and totally tailored to our dogs’ different personalities.
She explained everything clearly and made sure we felt good about continuing the training on our own until the next session. The progress we saw in just a few hours was amazing—our dogs went from being overexcited to more well-mannered (though they still like to push the boundaries a bit!).
Michelle truly cares about both dogs and their people, and she’s great at adapting to everyone’s needs. If you’re looking for someone who’s not just knowledgeable but also down-to-earth and awesome to work with, Michelle’s your person!

Michelle is simply incredible with our pup. From the first interaction, she had already started training him and us without us even noticing. She is passionate about what she does, and it is reflected in her teaching and approach. Overall, it’s difficult to put what we have experienced into words, and all we can say is thank you! We still have a lot to learn, but we feel confident with a trainer like Michelle by our side.

Our dachshund had become impossible to manage after I became pregnant and we had got a puppy —she wouldn’t listen to us at all, barked at everything and everyone, and began refusing to pee outside. I was overwhelmed and did not know what to do. After just one session with Bark Busters, I feel back in control, and Lola is calmer, quieter, and finally listening again. It’s been a complete turnaround, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

After years of persevering with many other training methods that didn’t result in any positive change, Michelle accurately assessed the behaviour issues we were having and gave me the skills and confidence to establish boundaries that my dog and I both needed. The positive results were instant and continuing to get even better. I can’t recommend Michelle and Bark Busters highly enough.

I am extremely grateful to Michelle for her amazing skills and knowledge about dogs. She helped me understand my dog's behaviour so I can address the issues properly. I am just so impressed at her skills from the moment she walked in to our home. Since the training 3 days ago, Charlie has been showing a lot of improvement. We will continue to do our homework and I believe that we will reach our goal with Michelle's help, techniques and knowledge. I look forward to be able to be a great dog whisperer to my beloved Charlie. Thank you so much Michelle. You are amazing!
