While it's been a week since Winston and I had our first session the changes have been great. The main reason for seeing Philippa was Winston's barking and this has reduced dramatically, I'm able to control this very quickly and easily. Winston is also good now with opening the baby gates and doors to other areas of the house, he now sits and waits for me to say yes. We do still need to do work on this when he's excited and we have visitors, especially is Aunty and cousins who are just as excited to see him. Winston is a a cocker who wants what he wants so recall, jumping and mouthing are something we still need to work on but I'm confident that we'll ace these as well with Philippa's support.

I am surprised at how quickly the training was effective. I was at my wits end with my dog and really needed a solution. We are impressed with Philippa's knowledge and approach. She took all the time needed to analyse our situation and propose a tailored training plan to address the reactivity issues with our dog, which was our main concern. She also proposed to improve behaviour around leash walking, recall and stay. Our dog, a 5 year old Kelpie cross responds well to the training methods. The training plan consists of daily short specific exercises based on "passively" establishing leadership and no-treats positive feedback. Our dog respond well to this approach and seems happier and more relaxed now. We're looking forward to our second session with Philippa.
