So far we have had one in-person session with Bark Busters for our new pup and within a few days we have witnessed monumental changes in his behaviour (and ours). Philippa is extremely professional and understood exactly what we were looking for in order to make our pup a part of the family. Philippa took as much time as was needed to ensure we had confidence in managing an energetic pup, as well as conducting follow-up emails and phone calls to ensure everything is going as planned. I was recommended Bark Busters by a family member residing in another state and from what I can tell the quality of training seems to be set at a high standard across the board. Within 5 minutes of Phillipa coming through gate she instructed me what to do in the situation to having a dog that wanted to run and jump all over her to sitting beside me . Phillipa has a very calming influence and showed us quite clear instructions so we could understand from a dogs point of view . We feel more confident and positive that we will be able to have Murphy listening and paying attention with the training she has set out for us to do . I have been trying for years to get my dogs to behave and after multiple other training techniques offered I have had the most success with the Bark Busters method. Pip is absolutely amazing. Some very useful strategies to control her on leash. Collar and leash supplied makes training much easier. It is not a quick fix. Consistent training is needed. Time and patience is required to train our gentle but fearful adopted dog.

There is still a lot of work for me to do with him over time, but it has been fantastic and I am very confident that we will get there. Philippa was fantastic with Rebel. We learnt a lot in a short amount of time and Rebel responded well to Philippa. Now that our commands are consistent Rebel is responding much better. Reggie 5 months old Cavoodle had his first training session with Philippa yesterday. Philippa asked about what problems and/or changes I would like fixed and then took me through some dog speak and psychology. Although I had been training Reggie since he was 8 weeks old, to sit, lay, etc. he started to get very stubborn and started to choose if he would ignore me or not, at times putting himself in danger by running out the front door and across the road and chasing Kangaroos and he would Bark and Bark at the slightest sound! On our first session, Philippa implemented some of the behaviour changes I had had requested and you could see he started thinking about what he was going to do. Yes, he still had some stubborn moments which Philippa very professionally overcame the problem quickly. Philippa was very knowledgeable pulling out tricks of her own to immediately deal with his behaviour, never once coming in contact, and using her voice with the dog in a gentle manner. Reggie responded so well. I was starting to struggle and now felt encouraged knowing what a great decision it was to have him trained, I can’t wait to see the result. Philippa rang the next day to check how we were going and if we had any questions, which impressed me. Highly recommend Philippa’s service.
