Wow, Chilly respected Ric on arrival. We saw a change in behaviour in the first 10 mins. We appreciated the detailed advice and follow-up email with detailed instruction for us. In two days, Chilly has learned how to walk through doors and walk on a lead without pulling. Highly recommend Ric, worth every penny!

Ric was very thoughtful and detailed and nurturing. I really appreciated the thought that went into every explanation and demonstration.
We’ve been through quite a journey my pup and I and at times it did feel hopeless, but now after our first session I’m hopeful that we have the right support with Ric!

Ric is a great guy, supportive, patient and knowledgeable. In just a short time he assisted our dog with recall, pulling on the lead and jumping in and out of the car. Totally recommend him!

Ric is an outstanding trainer. In one session he completely transformed how our dog behaves on the lead, at the door, and around the house. He explains the psychology behind every step, gives clear instructions, and pushes you just enough to actually learn the technique properly. Our dog was calmer, more focused, and more relaxed than we’ve ever seen him. Ric’s approach is practical, fair, and genuinely effective. Highly recommend to anyone wanting real results and a trainer who truly knows his craft.

Ric came and saved our family. We were at our wits end, but after just 1 session with Ric, our German Shepherd did a complete 180. We have been doing our set training each day and our dog has shown a massive improvement. Thank you Ric!

Nothing less than immediate results with our boy. From the moment he stepped in the door Ric had our dog behaving so differently we were thoroughly confused as to why it had felt so hard to see change before. Highly recommend Bark Busters and Ric.

I am so grateful for the amazing help we received from Ric! He worked wonders with my puppy Cosmo. His approach was calm, clear, and effective. Cosmo has made incredible progress, and I have learnt so much.
Ric not only provided me with the right tools and techniques but also took the time to answer all our questions and gave me the confidence to handle any situation. Cosmo is now more relaxed, and on the road to being well-behaved, and happier than ever!

On March 15th 2023 I adopted an abandoned 12 month old black German
Shepherd dog. He was a 40 kg big, headstrong, wilful dog who demanded
attention all the time.
I had previously owned 2 Shepherds and thought I was up to the challenge
presented by this one but 2½ years later, despite my constant efforts and
training, I was losing the battle managing his behaviour. The difficult decision
to part with him was a very real dilemma. However I made one last attempt to
keep him and Googled 'Dog Behaviourists' and Bark Busters looked like it could
be helpful.
A few days later we had our first training session with Ric and we made
progress immediately as I learned to 'speak dog' and then to establish my
place as the 'top dog in the pack'. I was shown how to implement techniques
to manage his undesirable behaviour and subsequently his ability to make
good behaviour choices became apparent.
Now after only two training sessions I have a different dog. His behaviour at
home has improved greatly, welcoming visitors nicely is possible, and he is able
to calmly encounter other dogs on our daily walks. A huge change for the
better.
We still have much work to do, and probably always will, but he is becoming
the loving, beautiful companion I so desperately wanted.
Bark Busters has saved us both and I am so grateful to Ric for his valuable help
and guidance. Thank you

Lachy, from Murray Region. A year on from your services and help with our dogs sibling rivalry. We have two happy girls who spend all their time together, don't argue or resource guard. We are now even able to leave them alone together again. So again, thank you so much for all your help.

Winston’s training has become significantly easier with Bark Busters influence. His respect and attentiveness increases dramatically with every session outlined in the program with poor behaviours decreasing rapidly. There has been a marked difference both in Winston’s understanding and our own with regards to training/learning principles which allows us to pivot in unrehearsed situations. If you have made the commitment to add a dog to your family, bark busters is a fantastic option to ensure your new family member is obedient, trusted and a positive influence on your life (with lifetime support as well!!!!)

Thanks heaps Ric. It was great to get some understanding of some of Jax's behaviours and how to address them, especially as he is completely deaf .
We have been doing our homework each day and he is going really well. I actually think he is enjoying the structure . We still have a ways to go but I feel more confident after having Ric working with us. I'm also glad to have had Ric work with Jax and establish that he's not actually aggressive, which we have worried was the case.
I'm looking forward to our next session .
