I contacted Tanja regarding training for my 1y/o groodle. Tanja responded right away and our first training session was set up. Bella is extremely energetic and stubborn so I was skeptical as to whether she would listen to Tanja or myself. After one training session I have noticed a huge improvement! Bella has already started listening, taking on commands and become more aware of my authority. I look forward to continuing her training with Tanja's support. We started to see bad behaviours starting in our dog as she entered adolescences. Kelly came round when it suited us and help put us in a position of understanding our dogs mentality. This has noticeably help us shift our mindset to have a better behaved and more loving puppy.

Kelly came out to help us with Winston’s behavioural issues, separation anxiety, pulling and lead issues. Tanja was extremely patient, both with me and my 3 year old maltelier, and taught me how to be the leader, in a way that works. It was the second time she came, which is great under the lifetime guarantee at Barkbusters. The first time I forgot something important, that tells my dog they are free of the command, and so I lost the over time and I realised that refreshers are probably just a standard part of having a good relationship with your dog. They really do think differently than humans, and one little thing that you forget in the sequence of relationships habits with your dog can set you back. Most importantly my dog stopped barking this time for good, and it had nothing with telling her to stop barking once and for al! It had everything to do with the relationship habits, and nothing to do with telling my dog to be quiet or punish her when she barks. The teachings are so effective from Tanja and Todd and the team, both who came out under the lifetime package were great, because they focus on good communication between dog and owner. And Tanja even showed me how to apply the same concept to my cat, which worked! Two For one!

Philippa is amazing! She understood our concerns and explained, in plain English, the reasons why and how to deal with them. She is always available for questions and advice. Her techniques and expertise are valuable and truly work. We're still very early in our training but we are seeing signs of improvement!
