A huge thank you to Heather and the team for training us in how to be a good dog pack leader. Heather provided us with excellent tips on how to deal with our very excitable Labrador. We have three young children and Heather was extremely good at explaining to our kids what to do and not to do. We highly recommend Bark Busters and feel lots more confident in knowing what we are doing now.

The difference our training with Kelly has made is amazing! Since the birth of our daughter our Golden Retriever George had developed some decent separation anxiety which manifested in constant barking, licking and hyperactivity (including jumping up). After just one session George had completely settled down, no barking and very calm when inside. The tools Kelly has given us to work with George are simple and easy and have meant we can finally all be together as a family both inside and outside. Thanks you so much Kelly!!!

We both felt a lot more relaxed by the end of the session and Mason was far more calm and responsive.

My little chihuahua, has greatly improved from Jayne's first visit in June, she has understood the anxiety of this little girl after being rescued by me from sad circumstances. Having never had a small dog before, I have also needed training, Jayne has put me on the right track with a smile on her face. I would certainly recommend Bark Busters and in particular Jayne to my friends and family. Jayne is a very pleasant and patient person.

Omg!!! Heather, you are amazing!! We were beginning to think that Miss Billie was destined to be the naughtiest dog in the South.. But... With your expertise, straight forward teaching and no nonsense attitude, we were amazed to see the difference in her, in the first hour! Hugh was fantastic with the whole family and our new puppy. My eight year old son was included and engaged. Hugh went through everything we needed to hear clearly and without us having to ask too many questions. The way to communicate with Bonnie was very clear and she understood exactly what we were asking her to do.

Peter came to help us with our hyperactive and bossy boy Alfie! Alfie would bark a lot, demanding to come inside as soon as we got home, jumping all over the couches and visitors! Sometimes even jumping all over us whilst eating and stealing our food-surprisingly agile for a little Shih Tzu X ! On our visit Peter started our education about how dogs behave and think, allowing us to see into Alfie's world and how he saw us - At the bottom of the pack! Peter explained to us how to retake the top position and how to tell Alfie when he behaved inappropriately! Thanks to Peter we're taking back control- Alfie is already calmer and respecting us and our space, less barking is the best part! We still have a way to go with our homework as it has only been a few days, but we know we can do it and stay committed! Thanks to Peter and Bark Busters our life is being dictated by us again and not Alfie!

I extremely impressed with the professional and knowledgeable service provided by Hugh. He provided us with clear instructions, demonstration and practice of the techniques required to help us with our dog Ozzie. Hugh engaged with the whole family to make training our dog a team effort. By the time Hugh left Ozzie was walking well on the lead and was responding to commands. What makes this service stand out from others is the commitment for life long assistance and support when ever needed.

Heather was very friendly and professional and gave us excellent advice for our new puppy. Myself and Cobee are looking forward to her next visit.

We were visiting my sister in Shelley WA (6148) from Leonora in the Northern Goldfields. We were concerned about Jasmine who is a mixed breed (Kelpie) rescue from SAFE Kalgoorlie, about 21 months old. We adopted her when she was five months old. She had been exhibiting what we described as fear aggression, and being very territorial at home when people came to the gate. She would growl and bark, and also exhibited some signs of separation anxiety when my partner or I left the house. Hugh was not condescending with his delivery of information and techniques, he listened to us, guided us and provided instructions in practical, usable and appropriate terms - in a way we've been able to incorporate easily into our routines. Jasmine was much improved by the end of the session. The following day a knock at the door was responded to very well when we followed the guidelines provided to us (the same as during practice). Other groups we contacted before we found Bark Busters were quick to recommend drugs for Jasmine when we described her behaviour. We believed that this should be the last thing to talk about, not the first. Hugh gave Jasmine every chance to prove she really doesn't need drugs to modify her behaviour - which is exactly what we were looking for, the chance to correct her problem behaviour rather than just covering it up. The time with Hugh was very interesting and enjoyable, Jasmine is thriving with the mental challenges and stimulation. Still got some work to do, but it's great to see her really trying and rising to the challenge. It was particularly nice not to be treated with a one size fits all approach. Has was given the change to work on her problem behaviour in a manner that worked for all of us. Even though we live so remote, we still believe we have achieved great value for money for the support available thus far.
