I could not be happier with the training provided for our dog Teddy by Michelle. Right from our first phone conversation she was understanding, empathetic and supportive about the issues we were having with Teddy. Her communication skills are fantastic and I felt very prepared for our first session together. I was amazed at Michelle's dog knowledge and training skills and she explained all aspects of the training so well, which meant I always understood why we were doing things. Our dog responded so well to her and we could see instantly how effective the training was going to be. She left us with clear training goals to work on over the next week, with assurances that we could contact her if we were having any issues before our next session. We're only a few days into our training and we're already noticing a big change in Teddy. He is so much calmer and responsive to our communication with him. We can't wait to continue our training with Michelle, so that we can have a calm and happy dog who adds happiness to our family without the stress. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone who needs training assistance with their dog!

It's been more than 2 weeks since Glen has come and Kaya has shown massive improvement compared to all the other puppy training and schools I had tried. Definitely worth going with bark busters all the rest use treat training which only works when you have treats.

Maureen was great with Benji she got him to stay outside on his own without one of us being with him he has not been left on his own before because he would fret and bark to be let in. He always needs company.

Very good my dog responded immediately to the training

I learnt a lot about how dogs communicate and how we should communicate with them. I thought Duke was going to be difficult to train as he has been getting away with murder for so many years, but I was surprised to see that he learnt very quickly and responded to the training a lot better than what I was expecting

Maureen Guelfi from Bark Busters came to help me with my dog Iris. I've had Iris since she was 8wks old; and she's almost 2yrs old now. Maureen is an experienced trainer and has given me hope that I’ll be able to take control of the barking that has been making life a bit unpleasant. I've also had issues controlling Iris' frenzied licking of people who come to visit. Everyone's happy to say hello, but sometimes the licking just won't stop no matter how I was trying to correct her. Maureen assured me that I'd be able to get this unwanted behaviour sorted out too. Maureen is very clear with her instructions which has made it easy for me to follow on with the training each day on my own. I didn’t feel rushed when clarifying anything I needed more info about, and most importantly I didn’t feel “judged” for the things that I thought I was doing right (but clearly was not!). I am absolutely blown away at the immediate difference our first session has made! In the short time that has passed since starting, I can see a big difference in how Iris responds to me. I've even had feedback from the team at the dog daycare centre that she's been barking at other dogs less! The follow up with me after my initial training session has been great! It's clear that Maureen really cares about our success! I’m feeling confident that I’ll be able to make the changes needed to ensure Iris has the best life and we can coexist without worry behavioural issues. Thanks Maureen!
